Hi all,

So I have bad internet at home and they restrict how much I can download per month.  I'm thinking I can go to a public hotspot and use their net to download the client.  So my question is how long did it take you to download and what is your net speed?

I'm thinking at a library or local college I may not have to wait around so long.

Took me 2 hours. My internet speed (from provider) is 3.6 MB/s. BTW this kind of question does not belong on the Q&A section of the forums

With a steady download rate of 5,25mb/s i got it about 1 - 1,5 hours.

Took me 30 minutes max. It started downloading just before lunch. When i came back, it was ready.

In about 6-7 hours or so. My speed ranged from 120 Kb/s to 500 kb/s. Fairly poor actually, considering I've got 15Mbit.

Less than an hour. I downloaded the leaked client when it was posted early in the day.

It's a really big download so if you have a limit then that's probably a good idea! Took me 4-5 hours at around 300 kb/s.

Took less than a ½ hour. Started it up as COPS' intro played & it was complete before the show ended...  :D

It all depends what connect you have and download speed, some will take 30 mins to 8 hours.  LOl   :p

I had a problem with my connection, it droped from 10 mb/s to 0.70 mb/s so the download took me about 10h lol

35 Minutes - I timed it. I can achieve download rate of ca 114Mbps on my connection - so if download used all that it would have taken less then 20mins.

took me about 6-7 hours, I think :) the downloader said my speed was only 150-220 Kb/s, but I don't think it's totally accurate.

Got the same results 500-600k/s on 15mbit connection, but I average 1,8mbit/s on torrents. I'm pretty sure it's not your connection, probably servers or something.

I got it within 3 and a half hours with a download speed of 300 to 500 Kb/s

I didn't time it exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was somewhere between two and three hours. My average speed (when I bothered to look, at least) seemed to be about 650 kb/s.
