About "Khazad Fundinul".

We started in LOTRO  when it was in Closed Beta, then got a branch going in SWTOR, and now plan to plunder through GW2. So our guild is multi-gaming community and we will be playing these 3 MMOs for now. Our members age vary from early 20s to late 50s. We don't have any drama or grief, everything is on a good level of maturity and understanding.

We are mostly NA, EST time zone (I am on PST though), but we have some guys from Australia and New Zealand too.

"What are our plans for GW2".
We plan to plunder and rob... oh wait, I meant to say we plan to have a lot of fun . We usually try everything that game has to offer as long as our real life has time to spare. But we will definitely be doing some PvP in all of its forms, along with a lot of PvE and basically do whatever is fun.  We will have guild events, and competitions too.

"What we expect from our members".
Have fun and help others to have fun. We don't have strict rules of raiding or any type of that requirement as a casual guild. Basically Khazad Fundinul in GW2 will be a place where you can come home from work and relax while having fun pew pewing some mobs or other players.  That's what we've been doing for years.

Help others.  We are a pretty laid back somewhat-crazy bunch of guys and some gals. If you happen to be a couple - our members are pretty decent so you won't hear any cussing or BS... for the most part.  In game chat its all decent, no griefing or drama allowed, we have voice chat as well.

We have recently added 3 new people to our guild.  We are eagerly awaiting the next BWE so we can actually meet them in game, and play some GW2.  

As a guild we like to have fun events.  Of course there are the usual weekly group quest type of things. In GW2 we will probably have something where we meet up and see what the dynamic events are like with a decent sized group.  We also like to do other events that are just for fun.  For instance, in LOTRO I organized events in honor of Talk Like a Pirate day around September 19th.  There were Corsair (pirate) costumes for everybody to wear.  We usually met up at the Prancing Pony, for music and drink.  Then we would go outside for brawling.

We are eagerly looking forward to the 2nd BWE.  We will be on the Vasburg server since we sort of ended up on that one last BWE.

We had a good beta weekend.  Got to meet up with some of the new people who joined our guild between the betas.  Sadly not all of our guild could play.  Some people had other things to do, like paint their house (what kind of silly excuse is that?).  We also recruited 2 new people right after the beta ended and are looking forward to meeting them in game later.

Our internal guild GW2 hype has been growing.  We have been able to talk some of our brethren that are playing SWTOR to move to GW2.  We are at about 20 people right now that will be playing GW2 in our guild.  We would love to add more people before the game goes live.  Personally, I would like to get more people on Pacific Standard Time to join the guild since that is where I live.

We have decided to play this BWE on the Tarnished Coast server.  It is the unofficial RP server.  We do not consider ourselves an RP guild, but most of us have had good past experiences in RP guilds or on RP servers.  They tend to have good communities and fun events.  We also like to have and run events, so the RP server seems like it will be a good fit for us.  So if you like fun, then you should join us.

Looks like Tarnished Coast was a good fit for us.  Good WvW, and the community seemed good though it is of course a small sample size.  If you are an adult, especially if you are an older adult (25+ or even older...) please come by and see what we are about.

I can't believe the early start is less then 3 weeks away.  We are hyped and excited to play this game.  If you are looking for a good guild that is here for the long run then please look us up.

Things are going well and we continue to grow in spite of me being bugged and not able to see the guild.  That is one of the great things about having good officers and a mature player base.  Rather then something like an in game bug causing drama instead we just keep on trucking and having fun with the game.

A few days ago we had our first guild event.  We met at Morgan's Spiral for a group picture, had a short contest to see who could get to the top fastest, and then cleared the Nightmare Court area behind the Spiral a few times.

We are at 35 people right now.  We have had a couple of people reach 80, but most of us are strung out along the spectrum of levels.

Wow! it has been a long time since I bumped this thing up.  We currently have 35 people in our guild.  There are people that have leveled to 80 and some of us slow pokes still in the 20s.  There is quite a bit of dungeon running going on right now if you want to join in that type of thing.

We are in the midst of a small guild contest right now.  Just finished excepting screenshots from the halloween event and are getting ready to move to the voting phase.  The winner will get to create the guild emblem for the next 3 months.

We are also getting more involved with dungeons.  We have a group of people scheduling and running them often.

If you are looking for a friendly smallish guild where you can get to know people then we are the home for you.  This is a great time to get in and join up in doing Fractals or Dungeons.  We are not hard core, and do not have requirements to join groups.  We will never make you get certain gear or play certain hours to be in a group.

hello!  It has been a bit since I posted in here.  We are still open for recruitment.  We are looking for more people that want to play the game and have fun in a drama free environment.
