I agree, barbers needs to be free from RL money and buying additional hair should be charged with RL money.

This way, everyone wins. People who likes the new hairstyle that is on the cash shop can buy it themselves.

This is more money for ArenaNet because people wouldn't be reluctant. If people were charged to changed their hair style, I would carefully choose my hair style and keep it forever. If I was given freedom to change hairstyles, I would buy every hairstyle on the cash shop if I wanted to change my hair to that style.

Sorry but I can't see them adding a "free" barber.
It will stay as a cash shop thing for obvious reasons.

If it costs me money to go to the barbershop and change my hair, I will very very careful about changing my hair. Once per year or so? This will suck for me as a player, and probably more importantly, I will be much less inclined to buy new hairstyles.

It's like the dye system. Charge for new dyes, but don't charge for the changing of dyes. If everytime I recolored my gear that cost me gems, you bet I wouldn't buy any new dyes.

I have as short an attention span as anyone in this thread!   I remember a discussion during a raid in one of the other games 'oh look..there's a statistic for how much money you've spent at the barber.  I've spent 10g!' Other guy:  7g here.  Other guy:  oh wow 30g.   Aviel, how much?  Me (small voice): uhh...457g.  

So yeah. Barbers! If they don't want to use in game gold for them, then I'd say sell a pack of changes (maybe 5 for 100 gems and 10 for 175, or something).

The idea of having an Asura put you into some insane machine they invented to change your hair is awesome.  "Excelsior!"  when you step out of the machine with your new look.
