The upcoming time I'll be doing more environment integrated characters. These will be semi-speedpaintings, so nothing too detailed, it's all to focus on color and value. Would you like your character in one of these works, feel free to post your character. Sadly, I can already say that Charr have little chance reaching a feature

When interested, please post a picture of your character, preferably front, side and back. Also, let me know in what area you're character would be most comfortable in. Additional information is much favored, I like characters with a story to them. The speak more to the imagination. So be creative!

When posting, please don't post because it's free. Consider that there are people who would much like this, it would be a shame if you took their chance. But of course, don't be too noble.
I won't give estimates on when something will be finished and I won't notify you that I chose your character. This is mostly to improve myself, I don't want to take any obligations on me.

And a final note: tips are much appreciated! Guild Wars can be quite expensive

Haven't really had much time to draw lately, but here is a little thing GW2 inspired. Morag's Norn character Eryn in a nightrope.

Cool to see someone from Nolani's here in the Library.   I like the pieces you've put up so far.  Very neat looking norn.

Post any art you like, there isn't a restriction to GW2-related material here.  (There used to be but the mods removed the non-GW2 thread and merged it here).

EDIT: Just got my hands on ZBrush. Little something something of 15 minutes, doodling around in the programme. Trying to get a nice Norn bodybuild, as I'm not too fond of the in game ones. Sadly, saved wrong and can't edit it anymore But I'm really digging this programme so there will surely be more! Don't mind the head and the shoulders too much

Hey Tommy,  lucky Morag   Though I would say that Eryn looks slightly too elongated.

It is exciting to see you starting ZBrush, Minami is the other person I noticed using that.  Can't wait to see more.

Ogre/Jotun practice in Zbrush. I understand the sculpturing, now I need to learn how to save this mess and color it or something.

Definitely! Got a few paintings I want/need to do first, then I'm surely digging more into Zbrush, really fun to do. Some GW2 Monsters can expect to pass the revue. Need to learn texture and coloring and what not.

Fun! I love that I don't have to care about the light and can just focus on the shapes. And that you can easily adjust angle Both have their benifits and downsides though. Gotta learn it both! Starting a course in AfterEffects in oktober btw, hopefully be able to make awesome animations like you

Ok so haven't been able to draw for at least a month, so I'm dieing to start again. Quickly a post before Guild Wars 2 launches!

A commission I'm doing for Alacrity, her newly designed character. There's gonna be a victim too


And something I'm doing for Trish (Marshmallow), her ele in a Guild Wars 2 inspired armor.

Always fun to see more Alacrity art. It's interesting to see how different artists depict her. She looks really intense in this one! Just one thing that kind of stands out, is the shadowing on her face seems to be different than on the rest of her body. The face is getting more intense light than the rest of the body - some of the pale, bright light on her face would show up on her shoulder, extended hand, her back and perhaps even a touch on the top of her right breast. Otherwise she's coming along really nicely.  

Wow, I didn't know you did 3D these days. Looking forward to seeing more!

Agreed 100% with you on this. Norn are my favourites, I've got 2 of them planned for when the game starts tomorrow. Only finalised their looks last night during the stress test, and I'm already impatient to start drawing them.

@ Perynne: I wanted to give the face more lighting, eventhough it's less realistic, it often helps adding drama. But perhaps it was a bit too much So tried to fix it a bit, what do you think?

A guildie of mine was running around in an area of which he could see the shatterer. Was far outside his zone though. Inspired me to do this. Quick speedpainting of an hour Hope you like.
