Warrior's 1h swords, Thief's pistol, and Necro's scepter all stack bleeds with auto attacks. Other than those three there are many classes, such as thieves, warriors, and marksmen who apply bleeds on crits and some other abilities, but then again there could be more with the same effect, those are just some of the classes I played in the betas.

My targets were under constant Bleeding with my Shortbow/Longbow Ranger build with Sharpening Stone thrown in.  Take the Keen Edge and Sharpened Edges traits, and you'll be dishing out a steady stream of bleeds with the S-bow's auto-attack and L-bow's Rapid Fire (use Sharpening Stone + Barrage for some fun AOE bleeds).  Crippling Shot also lets your pet inflict Bleeding, so that's just extra icing on the cake.

Ya, I know all those, but I'm asking which of all the bleeder builds/classes/weapons stacks the most amount of bleeds in the shortest timeframe, I'm not asking for random builds that inflict multiple bleeds.

Honestly, after looking through everyone of them (that I know of), Elementalist with dual Daggers and Earth Attunement looks like they have a lot of easily stackable bleeds, including the auto-attack bleed. Does anyone else know some combination that might be even faster than that?

That's not something we can know for certain at this point, I don't think.  It depends on too many factors: your weapon sets, u-skills, traits, equipment.  It's best to go for weapons that inflict bleeding with their auto-attack and to spec into the Expertise & Malice stats.  Beyond that, what are you looking for?

For a two weapon set, warrior sword + anything and Rifle stacks bleed on auto attack for both weapons. That also means you have a melee and a ranged option, and off hand open for any flavour you want, support, defence, attack. You name it. I guess an off hand sword would give most bleed addition though

Wasn't there a thread recently that there was a bleed stack cap of 5 per source? If I did recall that correctly, it means there isn't really a super-bleed class. Even the engineer can easily maintain 5 bleed stacks on a foe using his pistol auto-attack.

EDIT: The thread where I thought I read this does not actually say this, so nevermind.

A p/d thief can apply bleeds absurdly fast. Since this is PvE we're talking about, it is quite easy to hit cloak-and-dagger and then use sneak attack (applies 5 bleeds in under a second). With increased bleed duration from runes and sigils, 2 uses of C&D -> sneak attack, with auto attacks in between, can stack 12-15 bleeds in 7-10 seconds. Additionally, 3 uses of leaping death blossom applies 9 stacks of AoE bleeds in under 5 seconds.

Warriors and necromancers, while they also can apply consistent bleeds with their auto attack, don't have a way of stacking a lot without utilities. Between the two, I'd say warrior stacks bleeds 2nd fastest, with sword and rifle (also has a trait that applies bleeds on crit), and necromancer stacks 3rd fastest with only scepter applying bleeds, and only 2/3 attacks apply it.

I don't know much about ranger and bleeds, I didn't play it that much.

Necromancers have the scepter and they have Reanimator, (5 in death magic) which gives a chance to raise anything you kill as a jagged horror. They make things bleed.

5 points in curses gives Barbed precision, which is bleed on critical hits. At 10 points you can take Hemophillia for longer bleed duration, letting you stack bleeds higher. Throw in lingering curse to make scepter conditions last longer and you should have a lot of blood.

Not sure if they make the most bleeding, as I'm not going to look at the others.

Warrior, Necro, Thief, or Engineer. All can spam Bleeds. I think the Thief has the most "burst" with bleeds with regards to stacking.

Ranger is prob one of the best at applying a ton of bleeds fast.

Axe shotgun ability applies 5 at once, + sharpening stone brings that up to 10 at once + bleed on crit could potentially make it up to 15 bleeds in 1 instant shotgun blast attack. I think the only ability which does more at once is the Warrior sword burst, and you have to build adrenaline first...and its not instant.

Not to mention that you could have the lynx pet for a free 6 more bleeds being applied simultaneously via the pet.

Then there's the shortbow auto attack which spams bleeds and has a fast rate of attack.

This thread was on the first page of Vigil.  Is it really that hard to use a damn search?

Recheck your numbers. Unless they are rebalanced, elementalist scepter outbleeds elementalist dagger.

Try a rifle warrior. With the right traits, i was able to keep constant bleeds on my foes.

It makes more sense to roll a rounded class you enjoy than focus on one that does a particular thing well.

In 10 patches/nerfs time you may find it changes and you are left with a class that does not do that thing as well, that you dont enjoy.

Just a thought....

I assume any class can do that, or almost any.

Spamming the "1" skill for elementalist/scepter/earth was 9-10 bleeds. 11 very occasionally, but 9-10 most of the time. I don't recall what my traits and stats were for bleed duration when I did that test, but I'm guessing they didn't amount to too much.

That's extremely poor. Warrior can stack 20+ bleeds in one Flurry if he's lucky.

Warrior can get 20+ with a single burst skill. Also has the longest lasting bleeds in the game with Deep Cuts.
Ranger can get 10+ with Splitblade + Sharpening Stone + Bleeds on crit traited + Sigil of Earth.
Necromancer has Epidemic to bleed 5 mobs to death at once. More effective if you have a warrior playing Sword/X for instant 25 stacks of bleed.
Elementalist using S/D has 3 stacks of bleed on your auto atttack and 5 on churning earth. You probably can stack like 9-12 with your autoattack alone. Constantly. Also burns etc, but that's not the topic.
On thief you can't get 7-12 stacks of bleed in 7 seconds because they last only 3 seconds. Your Revealed state lasts as long as the bleeds from Sneak Attack. No stacking possible at all.

S/D Elementalist with:
70% crit rate
Serrated Stones
Geomancer's Alacrity
2x Sigils of Earth

Stone Shards = 18 + 1.764 = 19.764
Churning Earth = (40 + .588) / 30 = 1.35
(19.764 + 1.35) x 1.2 = 25.34 ticks per second

S/S Warrior with:
70% crit rate
Precise Strikes
Deep Cuts
Critical Burst
Blademaster
Heightened Focus
2x Sigils of Earth

Sever > Gash > Final Thrust: 6 + .7476 + .2937 = 7.0413
Impale: (48 + .7476 + .2937) / 20 = 2.452
Riposte: " " / 15 = 3.269
Flurry: (16 + 6.6528 + 2.6136) / 5 = 5.05328

Total x 1.5 = 34.30329 ticks/second

Note that warrior numbers are probably too high.  It assumes that you'll always have full adrenaline, even immediately after you burst.

You can also build the warrior so that every time you immobilize, you get fury for 4 seconds.
