Hey all,

Just wanted to make a new thread to announce the begining of a new series that i'm doing which is a summary of the Guild Wars 2 universe for new players. It begins with a video that establishes the setting of the game: Tyria (which I released today) and will go on to tell the story of Gw1 for those who didn't play it or pay much attention the first time around.

Beyond that, it will explain the 250 years between the two games and will be 8 videos in total. Would love to hear what you all think about it!

Glad you guys all really liked it! Was recieved very well and i'm super glad.

About DSD, I did mention that there were 5 dragons in the video, but decided not to expand past that because bubbles is really such a mystery at this point it didn't seem relevant. Originally the video was just supposed to be about the planet, not the dragons, but that kinda shifted towards the end. You'll notice I don't talk about primordus in detail either? Thats just because he hasn't impacted the surfaced world too heavily compared to the others.

Anyway, current plan is every fortnight or so but that may change as time goes on. Right now the only bottleneck for how fast they come out is how quickly the artists can draw which, whatever way you slice it, is going to take some time.

As someone who has found it particularly hard to catch up with all the GW1 lore, having not played the first games properly, I really appreciate these summaries (And GW daily for that matter!)

Great video and love your videos in general.

I've watched so many freaking videos for GW2 and so many of them are poorly done and/or have misinformation and/or have someone largely babbling with little coherence.

Yours are definitely amongst the best.

I like TB's stuff but he tends to ramble.  A lot.  Yogscast stuff is good for a laugh but most of the time has no decent info to grab.  Your stuff is always concise, well presented, and tackles a lot of pertinent topics, well beyond what anybody else is doing.

There is so much misconception and misinformation about GW2 floating around in other games and in general - people should just watch your videos and learn.  

When I'm passing along quality links for GW2 info to friends I want to try the game, your videos top the list.

This is awesome. As much as I usually don't care about lore, your explanations were straight forward, easy to understand, and had me entertained for about 30 minutes. I think the art really helps a lot. Good job overall can't wait for your next videos.

As someone who have played Guild wars 1 a long time ago, I think this is a great reminder. To be honest I didn't pay so much attention to the storyline when I played the game so good that I can watch these videos instead of having to replay everything in game. Keep up the good work!

Excellently paced videos mate:) 1 thing though, it would be good if you explained WHY Orr sunk, or more to the point WHY Khilbron sank the continent and that the Titans were actually used by Abaddon, same for Khilbron. MAybe you already thought of that, but just throwing it out there:)
