Im pretty sure you cant transmutate PVP gear into PVE gear.
Lame that i didnt screenshot but Peacekeepers Focus looked nice like robotic arm, felt like hellboy

But tbh i prefer this system over the old one, cause in old one you just picked item you want, then farmed glory for it then picked next one. Now i can just PVP and then just buy alot of boxes and opening them is like christmas maybe even more fun, you never know what youll get, if you get too many duplicates then just stop buying boxes and wait till you can buy next rank ones.

Cant understand how people could like old system, after release you would just google which set you want and then just farm till you get it, now you can combine items you have till you get something better looking. And if chest drops item you actually wanted then its even more amazing, just dont focus on any desired items and then you wont be dissapointed if you dont get them.

I think those are some nice looking gear, especially the peacekeeper stuff.

NOT a fan of the random chests though. If I want a certain look I want to be able to get it without it taking forever while getting a bunch of duplicate stuff. Why do we need it? It's just a way to artificially make it take longer to get what you want. WHY?

1) What's the difference between bronze, silver and gold chests?
2)To anyone who reached rank 2 vendor: does the chests from rank 2 cost the same amount of glory as rank 1?

I "get" why they did the random thing....and it's all cosmetic, so I'm not too concerned, but it still rubs me the wrong way.

Honestly, they should allow us to buy each armor / weapon piece individually for the same glory cost as a chest, and make the chests drop multiple items (which they do already), so chests are more "valuable", but someone who doesn't want to gamble can get exactly what they want for (effectively) 3 times the price.

Thoughts?

I see what you're saying. I'd like to buy armor pieces individually (no random chests at all, i don't c the point), but if they feel it needs the chest then I guess. An alternative to your suggestion would be no individual items purchasable for 3x the price, but keep random and chests and once you get an item from the chest, then you won't get it again (as long as you have it on your person, in bank, or pvp locker so if you delete or somehow "lose" it, you can get another one).

I'm pretty sure it's called the dragon set and I got it by doing pvp tournaments.

No, but you can add it to the collection and use on alts. it's sort of bind on account.

Can you use those sPvP skins in the open world? As in, bringing them in your bag out of the mist, transmute them (as the sPvP gear has 0 stats) and then use them in the "regular" world?

I belive the same skins can be found in pve also. In this old video you can see bandit shield at 0:52

I think its the same skin as the greatsword you can get from the ascalonian catacombs dungeon, glows blue at night and is "normal" during the day. Also, skyforged is skyrim, yes.

-NOTE: All of the Flame pvp gear seems to be bugged. There are flat textures that connect to nothing that float around on the light flame gauntlets. I am hoping this is because there is a missing fire effect. The nightmare court scepter is also simply two flat textures, which doesn't seem right.

Also, Ill post a video later and edit this, but in each pvp rewards Chest there is 1 piece of loot for every class no matter what, In my first box, I got a dagger, in my second box I got a mask. I also got scepters, shields, chestplates, etc that I just trashed because they werent for my class.

I agree with this idea. I think if they can price the choice rewards slightly higher than random reward chests, it will give the players more freedom to complete their collection of gear. I also think there needs to be a way for PvP gear to be transmuted to PvE stats and vice versa.

I was annoyed at first also, however I realised that any items you cannot use you can still use for other characters because you can deposit them in your PvP locker which is shared between all your characters. I am wondering if maybe they have put these random chests in just for the beta so people get a look at a variety of armours and aren't limited by the 1s they choose to buy. Maybe as a bit of armour advertising as it were.

Yeah that's correct. You just obtain them in PvP differently to PvE. So people who aren't a fan of PvP or PvE don't need to worry thinking they will miss out on an armour set.
The only sets that 'may' be excluded from PvP are the racial sets but I cannot confirm that.
