That would have been a lot more interesting if you didn't cherry pick the noob stomping and actually showed some decent fights.

The elementalist at the end was interesting to watch, but that was about it.

You didn't show yourself against any warrior/guardian... only squishies lol

But yea, your playstyle is definitely above average. Most ppl were still unprepared noobs in this beta.

Videos will typically showcase the highlights of a player's experience.  I don't see why people don't understand this.

That said, I loved the video and it was fun to watch.

If a mod reads this, can you please remove the s in Warriors in the title, it was a mistake. Thank you.

With BWE2 comes a revamp to the trait system, adding trait tiers and changing various traits. In this thread I will list every major and minor trait. The minor traits are in order, so the first one listed is the five pointer, the second one the fifteen pointer and the third one the twenty-five pointer.

For those of you unfamiliar with the trait tier system, it basically means that any major trait can no longer go in any major slot. The traits are numbered using Roman numerals. You are only able to choose numbers one to six in the first major slot and numbers one to ten in the second major slot. The third and final major slot can contain any major trait in the line.

If you want to look at the trait system in-game for whatever reason, the above video shows every trait in 1080p.

I like sword/sword but here is a question, why was flurry so weak? Is the tooltip not updated? Says it does 3k damage and immobilizes for 3 secs yet you barely did 900 damage total with flurry but apparently added tons of bleeds, can someone please explain.

As far as I know the direct damage was toned down and transformed into more conditional dmg. I think overall however swords dmg direct or from bleeds got a little nerfed, not sure, but that's what it felt like.

No that vid prove that it take no skills to play a warrior.

But i guess that's not your fault.

Mine were 114 I think, yours was probably 99. I'm actually almost done release a warrior video myself, should be done in a few hours at most. Had an error with the first render :( youtube wouldn't display it at the 1080 for some reason. I was able to get a TON of good footage this weekend playing a lot of weapon combinations. I have enough footage to make around 4 videos total around 12-15 minutes each, which I will over the next 2 weeks.

Has anyone tested whether this trait works?

The base level 80 Toughness for any character is 916, so this provides 91 points of Power even with no Toughness stacked.

Matale 1 is a montage of Warrior Structured PvP clips from Guild Wars 2, Beta Weekend 2. I used several different weapons in the video such as Swords, Axes, Maces, Greatsword, Hammer, Shield and Rifle.

Read the video description on YouTube for more info.

I have enough footage for about 3 maybe even 4 more videos of the same length and quality so if you liked this one make sure to check the rest of them out as I'll be releasing them over the next couple of weeks. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching!

Eh its not a bad thing, watching the bleeds take someones health off in chunks is always fun to watch. If I play a warrior it will be a sword/sword warrior only, Ive no real interest in anything else. I might throw a 2h hammer in there for secondary weapon set.

As much as I love that your going bulls, frezny and bolas, been thinking about the same, I think your *ed when it comes to surviveability in tournaments, fun for random bg's tho. Also depends what specs ur using in the trees, I dont get why you spin away to deal dmg to your target, instead of weapon swaping and do a eviscerate to end em, different playstyles I guess!

It's kind of like a free hit because I get a couple of swings on him where he doesn't. If you look at that duel vs the warrior I spin over him a couple of times and my HP doesn't move but I do around 3k dmg to him each time. It also gets them confused in larger fights if you do laps around them since they have to be facing you in order to do damage.

I also have 20 points in defense for Balanced Stance and Endure Pain so I'm not that squishy.

Ye I figured the 20 points in defens when your going 2h, been debating to lose 10 points in tactics to get those 10 extra in defense, like 20p def instead of 10, when going tripple axe, but losing might for 10 sec wep swap, and 20% less cd on evi, and loosing crit dmg...depends if its worth it

I don't think you guys realize how much survivability Bladetrail (Greatsword spin) and Rush (Greatsword charge) actually gives you. If things get rough you use those 2 and you're miles away. I can't even tell you how many times that saved my but.

Greatsword gives you survivability through mobility similar to how the Hammer and Maces give you survivability through their stuns.

A jaded opinion born from many many months of tourney play and always being the glass cannon guy who insta kills your healer or most important player. I always lacked survivability but teamates more than made up for it. Its nice to have friends :( Btw can any1 give feedback on how dual wield swords are?

I found swords to be like all the other weapons, lacking in damage and burst particularly. It does fine in a 1v1 but it doesn't have the required tools to attempt a 1v2 the way the greatsword is able to. The downside is also that many many classes have condition removal. I can't even tell you how many times i used Flurry to get a huge stack of bleeds on my target and a second later they're all gone through a heal or other utility spell. I think elementalists might even remove some conditions when they switch to water. They're fun though. I found sword/sword with sword/shield to be my favorite.

All the specs I tried were fun, but greatsword axe/shield for me atleast seemed to be the only one that was actually at the level where it needed to be. It wasn't a build focused on popping a few CDs in order to score a kill and that's all you got. You could go in longer fights for a few minutes and do really well, as shown in my video.
