I'm of the same mindset. There are, at minimum, a couple of bugs that need to be fixed before I'm willing to re-solidify my own build.

Thankfully Ivarr had the foresight to link to the Guides on my blog, where I can maintain the spec links and writeups without having to bug Ivarr.
So far my "Run and Gun" and "Captain Hammer" specs have survived all the changes, but I also didn't emphasize broken mechanics in the builds.
Ayestes is your spec still viable? Would be curious to see what it looks like now, if you can link it.

Right now it's a state of flux between a Distracting Strikes variant and Full Defense variant. I've been leaning towards the first one, for the long durations on Fear and Immobilize coupled with the extra Confusion Damage. It certainly feels viable. The video I posted in the video thread had it looking something like this old variant (while also trying Rampager's Amulet and the Longbow at times), but I've moved onto using the Rifle even more as just a supplementary weapon. I'll throw the video in here, but just a warning the frame rate might make your eyes bleed as much as my opponents. Some main changes from the one in this thread are additional options in dealing with downed players, especially in team fights.

Update on this. My interest in the Warrior has wavered following the most recent stress test. The lack of mobility and slow cast times on many abilities has been irritating me to the extent I am longer finding playing Warrior fun. Hence, I have decided I am probably going Thief for launch.
With my interest in Warrior depleted, I am no longer going to maintain this thread post-head start. If you were asking because you wanted to replace this thread with one of your own, please feel free. I'll warn you though that interest in this type of thread seems to have gone down recently, not to mention most the builds listed are outdated.

I played a lot with a Hammer control overkill build with pretty nice damage:
http://gw2skills.net...GbNuak1soYYxmAA
It also worked pretty well with "Hoelbrak" Rune and 2* "Sigil of Superior Battle" + 1* "Sigil of Hydromancy" and "Soldier's Amulet+Jewel" but since the Sigil changes or bugs this didn“t work as expected. It had of course much more standing power at the cost of critical hits.
The strength lies in total shutdown of an oponent while dealing quite nice damage. The strongest downside is if the enemy has access to stability (the worst case is the Ranger ultimate e.g.). It works quite well in team fights as you can prevent an enemy from reacting and defend fallen comrads.

Fair enough man.
Thanks for the work you put into this in the first place. I don't have the time to maintain a thread like this given my RL commitments, but this was a good place for discussion.
Enjoy the Thief!

Take it easy and thank you for your good work
Yeah the problem with the beta and stress tests is that there in no way finished. Let hope that the 1st week of retail doesn't give everyone a headache with more changes and so on and so forth.
