Finished my quaggan backpack    I kept it's outfit pretty tame, just some embossed felt and mother of pearl beading. Now back to making more brain slugs because they are ridiculously cute and fun.



I think Nom will be going up for sale soon in my Etsy shop once I decide on a price.  (If you have suggestions on what you think it is worth, pm me.  I am looking at what other commissioners charge for their work and I seem to be seriously undervaluing my stuff.)

That quaggen backpack turned even more adorable than I could have imagined.   They really looks looks like their desperately clinging to your back   Great job!

I would have to turn in my mancard were I to wear a cute backpack like that, but I would consider sending some cash for a brain slug hat Will you be making extras of those?

Nom got adopted and is happily in his new home, which gave me funds to start some new quaggans. :-) I am just waiting for a few supplies to arrive in the mail today and then it is time to craft their pretty outfits.   I may actually be done one before GW2 releases!

I made a bunch of progress on some quaggans this morning but I am not sure if I will get one fully done before the 25th.  One thing I noticed last stress test is that quaggan tails are emarginate and not round, which is how I made the previous ones. So after I adjust my pattern everyone can look forward to seeing a couple quaggans in my shop around early September. :-)  So fuzzy, soft, and cute!

A charr is on my list of things to do, maybe closer to November.  I got a great deal on some low pile leopard, snow leopard, zebra, and cheetah fabrics so I want to play with the character creator and then see if I can make a plushie to match.  The fabric isnt as soft as the minky fabrics I have been using for the quaggans but they look pretty interesting. But before making a charr I want to make my new asura. :-) It is not going to be as big as Zinn was though.

Nice to see you're still making plushies. Can't wait to see how the charr turn out, I can just picture an army of plushie charrs, roaring for action! The quaggan plushies are absolutely adorable, you're really good at bringing out each creature in fabric form.

I've still got the rot wallow you made, it's currently occupying a shelf in a glass cabinet along with a couple of other game related plushies and figurines. I love it to bits. <3

Quaggan # 5 is done!

Fixed the tail for the proper shape, now I think I need to adjust the pattern to make them fatter in the tummy. Husband says I am being too picky.

It took a few days more than expected to recover from Dragon*Con and I only got to go for 2 days! (Scheduling conflict left us without a babysitter for the last 2 days so I stayed home with the kids).  But my husband did take the (outfit unfinished) Blue Eyed White Quaggan to go meet Felicia Day.

Heh. I would just like to sell enough to help offset some of the root canal/crown cost.  Almost as bad as the tooth pain before....

I do have quaggans all over the house! Wintersday quaggan is now wearing my son's hawaiian shirt and hanging in my daughter's room,  Fancy quaggan is in my son's room, backpack quaggan and Blue Eye White Quaggan are lounging on my glider rocker, quaggan #5 is boxed up safely in the dining room, and the three unfinished ones are in the craft room.    It is only going to get worse because I decided I have to make some of the little quaggan calves.

This is the second one I made.  The first just didnt have quite the right head shape  (my goodness these guys have big noggins!) but it still is an adorable plush so I am going to use the unmodified pattern just to make generic monster plushies. Personally I like the first one better but I really want their shape to be as accurate as possible.  Yes I know I didnt put the fingernails or toe nails on, husband said "Leave it be already! It is cute enough as is!".
