Is it possible to get them in WvW? What is the general way to get them? I assume from the auction house?

Specifically the Rune of the Forge.

i have not seen any rune drops of any kind anywhere in PvE or WvW, idk if its not in the loot table yet or just im not high level enough, they could be craftable however, so yes it could be obtainable in WvW since you can advance crafting in WvW

Even without crafting, you can just flat out buy crafted goods on the market

hit 80, farm puzzle chests/mobs/players for blue/green/gold gear then salvage runes np
