That is exceptionally unlucky You should at the very least have 30 if not 40 with so many minis. If you have oodles of gold/time, Hero armour, and weapons are not hard to get. Play through the Kryta bit and get an Oppressor weapon.

I've read HoM guides, but they are all about how to get everything, and nothing much interests me except the orange cat, but I can't find a simple answer on how to get just enough for him.

9 should not be too hard to get, it depend s on where you are at now. How much gold, how much mats, what you are willing to do.

A gentleman's 30/50

Looking cool is all that matters to me and I hate the grinding needed for the titles. The only title I cared even a little about is Ascendant because of the memories of Ascending. Anything gloat worthy doesn't matter (just look how many 50/50 and GWAMMs are around) especially once people start getting their hands on the new titles and armor.

This morning I was at 13/50 and had no real effort to grind and do anymore. But the release date kind of rekindled that spark that I needed to keep going and now I'm in a flow blown Guild Wars mood. Right now I made it to 21/50. I plan on stopping at 30/50. I just want Balthazars Guantlets.

I'm 6/50...Although I've had the game for years, I just can't bring myself to grind everything. Maybe once GW2 comes out, and I find a good guild or something to help me, just can't do it alone, plus my build is probably bad since it's so old.

Nope, never finished any of the campaigns on any of my characters in the 7 years that GW has been running. I'm actually making another attempt at finishing the campaigns now, but who knows if I'll finish. I've had inspiration times previously, never amounted to much. Well, onwards and all that (ie lets not deviate too off-topic please).

4/50, it's sooooo boring. I have never been a big fan of GW1, and the Assassin probably wasn't the wisest choice on my last play through. What class would you guys suggest for getting 30/50 as fast as possible?

Assassins are probably not the best class (aka worst class) for PvE regular play that you will need to achieve 30/50. Maybe try a Necro, Elementalist or Warrior. There are guides to get 30/50, but it might not be so easy to get it starting pretty much from scratch. However, I don't think its too hard to get past 10ish.

I didn't buy the game yet.....But if I decide to buy, I can only get Prophecy and EotN. I am not in the U.S now and can only buy the digital copy an buying all three + EotN is as expensive as buying Prophecy + EotN + gold to get 30 points Do you guys think it is possible to get 30 points just with Prophecy + EotN. I am still deciding on whether or not I should get GW or save the money for the cash shop when GW 2 comes out

Youd better get Nightfall+EotN. It can report you many points, but I´m not sure if you will reach 30 with only that.

You're admitting that you're gonna buy gold? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

You can get the trilogy for just €25 from the NC Soft online store. Then just add EotN to get the titles. I have some ppl in our guild who started only recently and are already nearing 30 points.

I am at 4/50, hehe. Didnt play much last couple years until recently. Going to try and get to 10/50 as all I really want is the flame dragon sword.

EDIT: Link 4/50only got EOTN a few months ago. Had Prophecies for a couple years.

I bought the trilogy a while back in order to work on my Hom but god it is such a grind and I don't have the power within me to grind so much so I guess I'll have to be content with 15/50
Do regret I stopped playing at prophecies years ago though cause if I wouldn't have done so the grind would have been nothing perhaps

42/50, Got bored of the grind could get it to 45 if i could be bothered to sit in spamadan and sell all my high-end stuff, seen as I won't be needing my obby edge and VS anymore, but people aren't buying, people only want stuff for HOM sat for an hour the other day trying to sell my Voltaic Spear for pence and still no nibbles

Only for an hour? I remember in the good ol' days when to sell high-end things you'd need a lot more then an hour. It took me few days to get the right price for me. Maybe you should try EOTN and/or LA too
