Equipment Pack

When I was playing my ranger I kept one of every weapon rangers can use in case I wanted to swap later on. I always kept them in the last bag in my inventory, but every time I used the auto sort option it would send all my items to the first bag.
Another problem I had on my elementalist was constantly swapping out a main hand and an offhand for a staff. My main hand weapon would go to my bag but my offhand would be sent to the first empty bag space. Sometimes if I was doing this just before a fight or in the middle of something I wouldn't have time to drag it bag to my last bag space and would have to be careful when salvaging or selling things. It also made it harder to keep track of my weapons when I couldn't always find them in the last bag slot.
Basically I'm looking for a way to designate a bag in my inventory as my equipment pack. It holds all the weapons I'm using/going to use and they don't move from that bag. If I equip or unequip them they get placed back in the equipment pack rather than being treated like another random bit of loot entering my inventory. I know that GW1 weapon sets etc work just like this (although there was no auto sort feature in GW1, the rest should be the same).
Is this a feature in the game as it exists or is it something I need to ask them to add?

I don't just want a bag that fills with weapons/armour, in fact I don't want random weapons/armour going into the bag. I specifically want certain weapons I choose to use to stay in there when not in use (even if I used the auto sort option) and for equiped weapons to return then when unequiped. I don't want random weapons I find as loot to end up in the bag.

Invisible bags, packs, and safe boxes — Items in these bags cannot be sold to merchants; they do not move when inventory is sorted.

Yeah but I think that would still cause the issue he's looking to avoid, which is them going to different bags after un/equipping. Other than invisible bags to not be able to sell, and equipment bags for armor/weapons, there isn't one were you can designate a specific item to be kept there(to my knowledge).
They did mention they'll be adding some sort of equipment "builds" (not sure what to call it) like we had in GW1, so we can switch between armor and weapons, but no ETA on that.

Also, know that if you equip an item from your bag, the one you were using will take it's place in the same bag. Instead of using "unequip," simply equip a new weapon or piece of armor and you won't have to worry about where the old one went. While that's not exactly what you wanted, it's as close as you can get at this point.

If you double click on a weapon in your inventory pane, it replaces your currently equipped item. The item you had equipped takes the same slot, iirc.
you can make bags that only hold weapons / armor. this is implemented.

In a word: Yes.
I should have mentioned the hero pane in my explination, but failed to. Thank you roachesrealm and el hefe for making that clear.

Well it would for the man hand weapon, for the off hand it wouldn't. The OH would be placed in your inventory like anything else, though with an equipment pack(assuming it has space) it'll go in there automatically.
