There are no different server rules, like RP, PvP or PvE, etc. But each you represent your World (server) when you play in WvW, and you benefit from the achievements of your World's success in WvW.
sPvP is across the whole NA or EU. You can guest of any server for PvE, but we haven't seen how that works yet. So the impact is mostly WvW, and guilds.
This issue is also semi-important in WvW because having an active aussie timezone playerbase can be beneficial to the World as the keeps and stuff can be defended or attacked during aussie times. Basically, the World is more likely to have a 24hr round the clock crew in WvW.
