Probably most interesting for the people with a lot of alts.

Aside from the zones your personal story takes you to, what path will you follow?
Will you do every zone from the start? Will you limit certain characters to certain zones? Or will you just stick to the zones from the personal story?

I am going to level up 3 chars at the same time so I want a variety in what zones they travel through. The paths my Asura, Sylvari & Human will follow when they aren't doing a personal story quest:

(the dotted line means fast travel)

If I ever become underleveled for the next zone (when I have 100% complete on the previous one) I will focus some time on crafting. (You can get upto 10 levels from 1 discipline, and I will have 2 disciplines per character)

I am honestly a no-alt guy, so I am sorry to be boring, but I want to max out the game in terms of stats on one character, meaning all zones 100%.

Complete all of the zones!

Complete all zones 1-15 100%, then complete all 15-25, etc. etc. Then if/when I create an alt, do it all again :D

Zones will be decided by group discussion/coin flip/table flip.

There's actually just 1 25-30 zone and that's Genderran Fields ^^ Odd indeed.

You are right!  i wonder why that particular level range is so under-represented

ah, well, perhaps everyone is supposed to meet up there at that time in their level-life

I'm more of a RP guy when it comes to plans,
I'll take the stuff as it goes (which prob. means that I will stick with the personal story path)

I will do the ENTIRE norn zone first because I love the mountains and the snow :)
Then I will jump around completing all zones to 100% as I please.

I will just do what I feel like.

Probably do the zones I enjoy the most, being Human and Charr.
But since Sylvari is going to be new, that I suppose.
I am making 5 alts, so, I will HAVE to reply some stuff I bet.

I am a completion-ist, and so I will 100% every zone I enter.
Like I did in the BWE's.

Quite a few big level jumps in your plan I hate to say.

Human jumps from level 65 to 70, Sylvari from 25 to 30, Asura from 15 to 30.

I suggest not fighting the natural progression path so much ;)  Your personal story is still going to take you though the zones that you're trying so hard not to repeat.

Log on whichever character appeals to me at the time and go wherever the fancy takes me.  I don't want a direct route just a whole new world to explore and have some fun along the way.  Sometimes alone and sometimes with friends.  I intend to take full advantage of the freedom of choice for things to do.

Not 100% decided yet, but the plan is something like this:

Think I might need to optimize it a little bit.....

I'll just start out creating a few characters, but mostly playing one. So then I'll probably try to explore all the content with that one. After some time I'll be interested in a new professions and I'll try to get that one to explore everything. So I think I'll be all over the place!

Haven't planned for much past the 50's yet. At that point I'll just wing it ;)

Haha I like this. I'll be doing something similar, if i get too bored with the surroundings I'll change then go back

I want to try all and everything on one character. I'll make alts but don't ever intend to go through the map in such much detail as I would with my main.

Actually, Sylvari jumps from 15-25 to 15-25, that should get me up to lvl 30.
Asura jumps from 1-15 to 15-25 to 1-15, which should get me close to 30.
Any other gaps I plan to fill with crafting xp ;)

I plan to explore everything as best I can on each character. Meaning all zones as I can get to them.

I will probably have to go back to lower level zones since I will likely keep pressing forward ^^;

I will focus on one character and go threw each and every zone with it and try to uncover ever bit of the map with it.

However, I do love my alts as well so, I will probably just go with the flow and them and see where my story line for them takes me :)

I have absolutely zero interest in the personal story, so I'll most likely just wander around, trying to get into as much trouble as possible!

Yeah, honestly I go all over the place and into all different zones.  It's really no fun to just follow 1 path when their are so many choices.

I'll RP my characters through whatever zones and paths that the stories (both main and side stories, and those of whomever they meet along the way) lend to them based on their personality. I usually play 2-3 characters depending on how much time I'll be able to devote to the game, and just play whichever character I feel like jumping into for that play session. Although, I do like to see progression in gameplay and character development so I do end up with 1 main and 1-2 alts in most games.

I will complete each starting area with each race 100% then decide on what character I want to really dig into for a bit, all the while gathering crafting supplies for bags and whatnot. Then I'll start moving the couple characters i really enjoy playing around through the 15+ zones, probably till I hit around 30 or so on them, Then swap to another character or two and repeat the process seeing stuff I've totally missed with the first few characters :)

I will be rushing all the skill challenges in zones i've done on other characters to get the skill points needed to get the skills I want due to that stupid skill tiering as a main point.

I noticed during the betas that you will often hit points where your level doesn't seem to be keeping up with your progress.  I think for those reasons alone, not even counting how dungeons are spread around; that I won't follow any linear path but will tend to explore starting areas equally and slowly branch out from each starter zone as my level(s) progress.
