Hi all

Made an observation today that I'm not sure everyone is aware of, and I thought was quite interesting. As seen in this video all three Asura Elite Skills have icons with golems in them: one green; one blue; and one red.




What do you think these could all do? My speculation would be something along the lines of the red one being damage based, the blue one being control based, and the green one being support based.

Just thought I'd throw these out there to those interested! If this has already been posted, feel free to delete it. Credits to Gamespot for the video.

In GW we had Melee, Ranged and Defense golems.

The 2 in the first tiered are an offensive golem to fight by your side, and a defensive golem to fight by your side. The one in the second tier is a power suit.

There is reportedly one elite called "Pain Inverter" that grants you retaliation as well, therefore not all Asura elites are Golems.

Not all racials are Elites, Pain Inverter is just another utility skill.

This is an interesting find, and I believe now I'm really considering playing an Asura all next weekend to get that battle suit. Imagine a whole team in pvp just using the battle suits, hehehehhee.

That look like an asura mesmer, with Moa Bird (non-racial) and two other non-racials. The golem skills are to the far right on both columns.

That can happen in WvW but not sPvP.

sPvP doesn't allow Racial Skills.

If they were all golem skills would be awesome because I want an army of golems!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Asurans should get golems like necro's get minions

Why no Racial skills in sPvP though? Maybe that's just a beta thing, since up until now we didn't have all the races? Kinda sad I can't do that though, it'd be fun.

not just a beta thing, tehy don't want race to be picked for the racials they have. They want people to pick the race they like to play, not the one needed to be effective.

So it's not basically humans (snare breaker) vs belves (aoe silence/mana drain) all over again. It's a bummer, but people min-max. :/
