I heard you get 1 skill points at max level everytime you fill up the experience bar.
Basically at 80 you get experience and instead of leveling up you get a skill point. Is it true?

That's how it worked in Guild Wars 1. Given that Guild Wars 2 also has rewards for skill points other than skills (that is, certain items might require skill points to craft or similar systems), it is likely that they will revive that system.

Just to clarify, that means you can keep getting skills points after level 80 by just filling up the exp bar? Do skill challenges reset as well or is this the only way to 'farm' skill points?

Not sure if it's confirmed or a bug, but the skill points in the WvW maps reset once every 2 weeks. That seems to be the only way to farm it.

Not surprising AN has to offer something post 80 for the PvE only players, so farming skillpoints is for sure a good start, hopefully they are going to couple it with a non tiered trait-skill system.

I would say that skill challenges do not reset. Also they didn't say anything about it yesterday.
Currently the only way to earn skillpoints after lvl 80 is indeed filling the exp bar.

Edit. I was talking about skill challenges in PvE. So maybe they work different in WvW as was said earlier.

Oh well thats a very good decision from Anet. If only I could bring my skill points from GW1 to GW2... Ah, damn
