Did anybody else catch the new Necro double health bar? Anybody have any info on how this will work?

I imagine it really is that -- a double health bar. Top bar represents the amount of Life Force the Necromancer has, bottom bar is his actual HP.

What I'm more interested in is the icon below the bar. That's the skill icon of Dark Path. This happens with skills like Lich Form too because they count as an active effect. Is this indicative of an overhaul of Dark Path? I think (and hope) so. :D

Where'd you get that screen from? Any new videos? Want to see if there are any skill changes.

My money is on practically everyhing being overhauled in the next patch. We already know from an interview that Dark Path was going to chill and blind on arrival... and there are rumours we're moving to 15 traits.

im guessing when you go into death shroud one bar will show your life force and another your true health so people can potentially save their burst to drop you when you come out of DS?

I believe that the bars are vice versa.
It makes more sense to draw the player's attention to the Death Shroud bar while in Death Shroud because the Life Bar is protected, at least mostly.
Also you can see the bottom bar get spent in the video. :)

I didn't really think about the Dark Path icon, but yeah that's pretty odd!
Maybe Dark Path now works like Spectral Walk? You can also see Swiftness there.
Too bad his cursor seems to skip right over the icon...

The Dark Path icon is just the effect icon of Death Shroud. At least that is what it was like during the betas.

Wait, what? Really? I thought it displayed the Enter Death Shroud icon, not Dark Path.

Lich is not a life bar, it is an elite skill. It just increases your maximum HP. Warriors, Eles, Engineers and Guardians also have elites that also do increase their maximum HP for the duration of the skill.

Frankly I could not find a single word on traits in those two. Were the rumors referring to having 15 traits per line up from 12 or a more deep revamp of the trait system?

Err elementalists don't get a hp boost. Just putting it out there.

Tornado does give a HP boost.

Take a look at 5:55 - 50% HP increase. Same effect as Lich form - temporary max HP increase.

It does increase the max HP in this video as well it just doesn't heal the user to max (just like Lich Form and Rampage). Look at the HP bar - it still shows that the elementalist has 11k HP, but those 11k become a much smaller fraction of the HP bar once Tornado is activated.

Yea it increases the max hp, but not the current in that old video. This one is much more recent, and it increases the current as well. Look at 1:11 in that video.

I thought the question was whether or not tornado increased the maximum HP. This is smth it always did during all the years - by different ammounts and with different bonus effects.
