What I'm more interested in is the icon below the bar. That's the skill icon of Dark Path. This happens with skills like Lich Form too because they count as an active effect. Is this indicative of an overhaul of Dark Path? I think (and hope) so.

It makes more sense to draw the player's attention to the Death Shroud bar while in Death Shroud because the Life Bar is protected, at least mostly.
Also you can see the bottom bar get spent in the video.
I didn't really think about the Dark Path icon, but yeah that's pretty odd!
Maybe Dark Path now works like Spectral Walk? You can also see Swiftness there.
Too bad his cursor seems to skip right over the icon...

The Dark Path icon is just the effect icon of Death Shroud. At least that is what it was like during the betas.

Lich is not a life bar, it is an elite skill. It just increases your maximum HP. Warriors, Eles, Engineers and Guardians also have elites that also do increase their maximum HP for the duration of the skill.

Tornado does give a HP boost.
Take a look at 5:55 - 50% HP increase. Same effect as Lich form - temporary max HP increase.

K nevermind. But this is pretty weird as I was checking out the video a long time ago. DEFINITELY need patch notes

It does increase the max HP in this video as well it just doesn't heal the user to max (just like Lich Form and Rampage). Look at the HP bar - it still shows that the elementalist has 11k HP, but those 11k become a much smaller fraction of the HP bar once Tornado is activated.

Yea it increases the max hp, but not the current in that old video. This one is much more recent, and it increases the current as well. Look at 1:11 in that video.

I thought the question was whether or not tornado increased the maximum HP. This is smth it always did during all the years - by different ammounts and with different bonus effects.
