Couldn't find an RP thread, so I'm going to post this here.

If Anet implements roleplaying servers, what would you expect from the people on those servers?
Would it be okay if I played as c4p1tan bu88les, trying to save the world from the mesmer-caust of nerf? Or would you expect my every sentence to be somethong out of a Tolkien book? Just something to think about.

Going to guess the reason there is no RP thread is because there is a whole sub forum for RP questions and answers. And as for the Tolkien question, no since the NPC's don't speak like that I don't imagine anyone would expect you to. The name of course would be.....frowned upon and I doubt anyone would take you seriously.

iirc Anet has already stated that they won't be implementing RP servers.  but i think there are some unofficial RP servers that are being put together by the community.  somewhere on this forum there is a list.
