Because the last thread was over 9000.

(This is the place for random, somewhat inane, discussion. Please don't use that as an excuse to just spam the thread.)

You are fooling yourself, user. Nothing here is what it seems. ANet is not the plucky hero, Guru is not an evil empire, and this is not the grand arena.

So be it.

According to the test I took, I'm a robot.

But Asimov is not my father, so one day, (21 of December actually) we will rule this world.

Also, I dislike flowers.

P.S. How would you like your world to end?

Wow, a new thread. How nice. How's the weather? We have sunny and hot going on here. Not exactly enjoyable to spend time outside after 10 am.

And why not?

According to Wiktionary, only Turkmenistan and Turkey use the word iki for two.

Wiktionary is incorrect then. It's also an adverb that means "poor". Apparently.

I see what Kat did. In order to stimulate debate, he started a new thread and used an obscure language to say "two" in order to make people talk. Very clever sir, very clever indeed.

I like the random arenas way of starting conversation in a dry spell.  Say "chuck norris" in all chat and you've got conversation for the next 5 hours, usually turning into political/religious/WoW flame after 10 minutes.
Fun while it lasted.  I guess.

Well two of those subjects are banned on the forums and I think we've had enough WoW talk on GW2guru for years -.-
Fun while it lasted.  I guess.

Perhaps his purpose is to fool you into thinking there is an even greater purpose, which in turn means that he actually accomplished his purpose.

I tie myself with a rope onto solid surface. Bring it on Muzeek.

Also: http://en.wikipedia....aesthetic_ideal)

Quote

Iki (いき, often written ) is a traditional aesthetic ideal of human behavior or volition in Japan, roughly "chic, stylish". The basis of iki is thought to have formed among urbane commoners (Chōnin) in Edo in the Tokugawa period.[1] Iki is sometimes misunderstood as simply "anything Japanese", but it is actually a specific aesthetic ideal, distinct from more ethereal notions of transcendence or poverty.

You don't give him enough credit. He accomplished his purpose by purposely trying to get us to find the original purpose which has no real purpose other than for us to think about the purpose which leads to us ultimate purpose of tricking us into thinking there was an ultimate purpose to his purpose.
