when i try to run the client it crashes and in the error log it says this:
Patch open of 'C:\Users\Tom\Desktop\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.tmp' for write failed with error 32
Does anyone know what it means?

Have you tried restarting the computer?  Error 32 implies that Gw2.tmp is being accessed or used by another process.  This could be as simple as you having the file selected in windows explorer (the preview pane can sometimes cause this), or it could be some residual access by another program, hence the restart to clear any possibility of that.

Tried it and still no joy, iv emailed support and they're looking into the problem for me, thanks again for the help
