For me it would be the promo cards from the pokemon movies, Dragonite from the First, Ancient Mew from The Movie 2000, and Unown J from the VHS for 3.

In other words, a small green blanket. It was designated to be mine before I was born, and it's still in my closet to this day (with holes and tears all over)
I used to walk around the house sucking my thumb while sniffing it (it smelled delicious for some reason) and I would toss it on the ground when I was done sniffin. My mom would then put it away somewhere, and then I'd freak out because I needed that thing - It was like my crack! If I didn't get a sniff in when I needed it, I was drained of energy and became lethargic.
I was addicted to a blanket as a kid

That's kind of pre-childhood though, so far as actual childhood goes I think the oldest thing I have is my Atari 2600. Unfortunately over the years moving houses several times I have managed to lose almost every game (I had about 20, now I have only 3), most of my controllers (I have only 1 of 5 left now) and even the RF cable for connecting it to the TV. But if nothing else I still have the console itself

Another that I don't cherish a whole lot, or even remember where it is, is one of those wooden rocking horses. The reason I remember it so well, is that is was always in my room as I grew up and I always remember one funny story about it; one day, my child mind thought that the tail of the rocking horse seemed like it was a bit too long, and I came up with the genious idea of giving it a haircut. So I grabbed the scissors, and went to it and chopped off about 2-inches off the tail and then, if I recall this correctly, my mom coming in seeing what I had done, letting out the "What have you done!?" parental outburst, leaving me staring blankly at her, and then back at my hands, as my child mind slowly realized that I had apparently done something wrong. So, my mother was angery at me for the rest of the day and the typical punishment of staying in my room.

One thing I can say I still have is books (dunno if they count as "childhood mementos" though...) I've got a BIG Mickey Mouse hardback book with stories from the 1930s which was given to me when I was still a baby (so I didn't actually read it till later)... And I also have a hardback 50 year anniversary edition of The Hobbit. Both have great sentimental value for me

Bahaha! That was great.

It's barely in tact still, but I keep it inside of a bin in my closet, for memory's sake.
My dad used to drive materials around in a truck around neighboring states and bought me that pillow one of the times I went with on his trips.
I barely remember anything from back then, but I can at least vaguely recall that time because of the memories associated with this pillow.

Actually I have 2... My mom tried to wash it one day, but I cried when she try to take it from me. So she went to the store and bought the exact same one to switch it when I wasn't looking. It didn't work, I still cried with the new bear. You can't fool me!
