My problem is right now my main Sylvari has the blackstone skin and the midnight ice hair color with the green grass glow. While I love the look it gives, I'm having a hard time with the armor colors. I finally started getting some dyes that I like (abyss, emerald, etc.) but with the neon green glow it just seems off when I have her wear the darker green colors. So far I have been trying to match the armor to the glow but that left me with this lime green colored armor that I really do not care for.
So basically how have all of you guys been dealing with armor colors compared to the bright neon glow colors. Any and all help would be welcome.

Depends on taste I suppose ~ but I made several Sylvari in the BWE's and tried a boatload of dyes on 'em. IMHO, colors of the same tone or degree of brightness worked pretty well, even if they weren't "matching". For example, my Sylvari with a bright purple glow looked good in bright pink, bright green, etc. Alternately, I find that light pastel shades can look pretty nice with brights, for example lime green with a nice matching pastel green (as the glows wax and wane). Another thing that might work is using your lime green dye as an accent color only, to give the outfit some "pop".
And yet another suggestion, you could make the main color of her armor coordinate with her hair color and/or her skin pattern color (depending on what it is, of course).
Sylvari can be pretty tricky to pick dyes for, though! I've been fiddling with the character creator for awhile trying to make my Sylvari, and thinking of what colors she will look good in is definitely a factor. Best of luck to you!

Ranger i'm looking for to create (toying with CC while going up in pve with other chars, and setting name).

I've read someone talking about Pink Slvari.
I like how this one turned out.
Only thing, i'm still deciding hair...

Under what conditions does your skin and hair glow in the game? When I turned the light option off in character creation my elementalists hair was really intense. She looks like one of those old fiber optic decorations from the 70's. But in game so far she hasn't really been so glowy. Even at night time. Where is it dark enough to take advantage of the glow? Dungeons? Specific maps?

I think with Sylvari the cultural armor is the best! It also glows and stuff so that works out pretty well.

Here she is:

I noticed in the stresstest that the bodytypes are the same in the upper and bottom row - but with different "texture", so one is more like bark. I wonder how I missed that the last BWE... but it's really a great choice-addition!
