I like jumping puzzles of course I like platforming in general. I like the reward is not that great cause it should be optional. I wish they had a start here endecator though and I don't like the ones that you have to fight

Definitely Yay. I like them, and hope that they get more complex as the zones get harder. I especially like that they are not marked and must be found via exploration.

I personally love the jumping puzzles. It makes me feel like I'm an actual adventurer, searching for the next big treasure. It definitely is something that I think is needed in more games actually. I'm even one of those people who while playing something like Aion or WoW will attempt to climb the mountains they didn't intend for you to climb, while not flying of course. It just makes me feel accomplished.

Yea* for me. Also, I don't quite get the logic of not having the puzzles. They're there as an option, and if you don't like it you're free to pass it on by. If the argument is that it's hard for a completionist who has difficulty with the puzzles, I don't see a problem. Shouldn't the completionist welcome the challenge? That's like saying, "catching 150 Pokemon is too hard, there should be less D:<"

From what I have seen most of the people that don't like them, feel so because they think they are too hard and frustrating and have too little pay-off for the time they invest.
Too hard is subjective. That comes down to the players abilities and only the players abilities. If you are not good at it and don't care to be good at it, then ignore them. If you are not good at it and want to be, keep practicing. If the pay-off isn't worth the time, then once again, don't do them.
The jumping puzzles themselves are not the problem. The actual problem is an entitled gamer complex. Some people feel that the challenge and sense of accomplishment for completing it isn't enough. Other's think that because they find the puzzles frustrating or a waste of time, they shouldn't have to do them but still be able to get the same level of completion as everyone else.
It's sort of like Xbox achievements. Completionists will spend hours doing something they don't personally enjoy or consider fun just to get a specific achievement. While people that would like to consider themselves completionists complain incessantly about how much the designers suck for putting in achievements they cant get because they take too long or are too hard.
The way I see it, map completion is map completion. It doesn't matter what the designers throw in there. If achieving 100% is that important to you, you will do it. Even if the thing isn't to your own liking. NO ONE enjoyed trying to find that 0.02% of the map they were missing for a cartography title in GW. Especially in the days before texmod. But the ones that wanted it bad enough grinned and bared it. And the reward for that was nothing but two unimpressive words above your character. People did it just to do it. For the satisfaction of having it done.
Im not particularly fond of points of interest. Some of them are pretty cool and may lead you to something neat. But others, especially in the Norn areas, felt totally pointless and out of the way of anything I wanted to do. That's my opinion of them. But damned if I didn't run around and find every single one of those things in every starting area. Because I wanted map completion. It was my choice to do a mixture of things I didn't find fun and things I found incredibly fun to reach a game goal I thought was worth it - instead of crying about how much those POIs suck and need to be changed or removed so I can get something I want without having to do whats required.

The XP bonus from map completion is signifigcant. Even non-completionists have a reason to want 100%
Not to mention the constant reminder every time you have to load a zone.
