This may sound a little random to ask, but I was wondering what people's opinions are on what the minimum and maximum heights are in the human character creation? For both the men & women.

I'm only asking because if when coming up with character ideas and I imagine a height, I'd like to feel as though I'd accurately portrayed it with their in-game model.

Do you think the shortest for females would be about 5'? Would the tallest for males be 6'6" or more?
I'm not sure what Tyrian lore considers to be an "average" human height. I was under the impression that the charr are supposed to be around 7-8ft, norn at 9ft+? So would an average male human height be around 5'10"-6'?


I'm sorry if this would be better suited to have been asked in the lore forum, I just felt as though it was roleplay intentions behind wanting to know. =)

There was a thread on this already.  Somebody figured the middle ground for human height was 6'1", and that created a discussion on average height in real life.  Interesting that scandinavian area have the tallest people... aka the Nordic blood or Norns of real life.

6'1"? That is pretty tall, heh. I think one of the tallest averages we have in real life is round 5'10".

But thankyou. This gives me a better rough idea.

On a side note... I wish I could consider 6'1'' tall lol, sadly I'm a Norn IRL....

Haha you're a 6'6" plus type?

I do normally only consider 6'4"+ to really be going into the realms of "tall", but 6'1" for an average is pretty tall. Nearly everybody, well, maybe 60-70%, would be 6ft ish. I always thought 6ft was quite average until I realised a surprising number of people I know in life are actually not 6ft at all.
