Expect a brief interview process using Ventrillo or Skype so we can get to know who you are and what you'd like to do in GW2 and within TMG. We don't use 'recruitment applications'-- we don't want to waste your time and vice versa.
Although our Pro Team is not actively recruiting, we always keep an open mind to people with the right combination of attitude, talent, and commitment. Talk to us, similar to Core, and express your interest. Expect the process to be more lengthy and involve the existing Pro Team members. There is significant effort and time commitment involved, as opposed to Core.
Who are we?
Top Marks Gaming (TMG) is a community of veteran and professional gamers that achieve notoriety through talent, attitude, and teamwork. Our professional gamers rank in the top of what they do, be it the national mutliplayer ranks, tournament standings in eSports, or the fluid analysis and application of game strategy. As a community we give back with guides, historical and live footage of our game play, and promotion of the game we are a part of. We have lived and breathed competitive games since the mother *ing dawn of computers and never stopped achieving anything short of the Top Marks when competing in them.
What can I expect from TMG in Guild Wars 2?
In the game you can expect to see two things from us:
(1) eSports caliber involvement from our Pro division that focuses solely on tournament style PvP
(2) sPvP and WvWvW activity from our Core division that focuses on community involvement
Outside the game you can expect to see live streams on Twitch.tv, historical streams on Youtube, and published guides.
What server are you guys on?
We plan to launch on Darkhaven.
What region and time zone does the Team play in?
We are a North American based organization and we play on a CST Time Zone.
How do I join the Pro Division?
We ask you. If you want to get our attention, then find and join our ventrillo and/or post on the forums. Get with us in game. Talk to us. Let us know you intend to be a Pro Gamer and show us you've got what it takes to be a part of the team. We take the Pro Division very seriously and a team lead will arrange a brief 'interview' with the existing Pro members.
