Good point about the Polo.

Now that I think about it I love the idea of us being able to play a competitive PvP minigame on a pitch riding our mounts ^^.

Also, that was one of the best interviews i've read in a long time. They asked great questions and published some really juicy stuff that maybe the other websites have been skipping over (like Anets design philosophy).

I have to wonder if Anet are this enlightening in all their interviews with websites but they edit loads of it out for casual readers..

^ Yah. Though, some of them might actually be under the same achievement tier (since of their similarity), so you don't get 30 different types of... or do you? :surprised:

Quote

They include such honorable traditions as bar brawling, archery or snow ball fights.

Again, I wonder how will this work. :surprised: The archery, or Shoot Out perhaps?, might work as shooting in FPS games... Talking about practice. :D Various games intergrated in your favourite game... how good can it go. :D

But, I'm a bit sceptical over the talk of merging various elements from different games so ArenaNet pleases different types of gamers. We'll just have to see how it goes. :D

Though, yeah. It isn't much to be worried about, since judging from the interviews, they've done quite a splendid job of packing it all up together so it doesn't seem as just a pile of things being dropped out.

I just know I'll have to experience everything. :D

Though, I wonder will there be special stuffs we can attend to on the annual festivals (which were confirmed to exist).

And I want to see rollerbeetle racing again. :D

Doesn't anyone else find it fishy that these interviews about the activities in GW2 are put out BEFORE the blog post about them are up on the Anet website?!

Maybe Anet has something else up their sneaky sleeves to tack on tomorrow to sweeten the deal...... Maybe something like *cough**cough* A PROFESSION REVEAL?!

I'd love if that were true.

But I think these websites are just being cheeky *******s and releasing their info before Anet really wanted them to. They know if they release it a matter of 'hours' (even if its 23) before it goes up on the blog they will get huge traffic for it.

Same thing happened before, when the ele was revealed. 2nd combat article appeared on a 3rd party website a day early. It was essentially a duplicate of the one on gw2.com

True, but at the same time GW1 had rollerbeetle racing, and we couldn't be a rollerbeetle out in the world or anything like that.

So even if there was polo with horses, that doesn't necessarily mean that horses will be present in the persistent world.

Maybe the Norn will get an extra ability to transform into a horse, and other players can ride on top of them and play polo. ;)

It's all up before the blog post but the blog post probably won't have any new information pertaining to the stuff from the interviews. It's just gonna serve the purpose of confirming all of the info officially by having it being released directly from anet and for people to read who might only read the blog for updates

Who needs horses when you've got centaurs, golems, siege devourers...

If LOTR Online's taught me anything, it's that in MMOs, you can get knocked off your big, armored horse by 2-ounce birds. Try that with a centaur, and you'll get spitted.
