Yeah, we are sure, it's 12 pm PDT/PST. (Same thing =_=)

PDT(California time) is thee hours earlier then East coast time (Florida/New York).
So It's 9 am PDT and Noon/12pm ECT

Guys do the Math. add 12 hours to your clock and thats when you can logg in on the 25th.

PDT 9am

East coast 12pm/Noon

12pm PDT or 3pm EST; It is using your system clock to give you the timer. Same time as the BWEs.

There's an issue with the timer where it's basing the countdown off of your computer time, so it's reading noon on the 25th for everyone in their own time zone. They are going to look at it tomorrow and fix it. Source: GW2 twitter It really will be noon PDT.

From what Martin said on Twitter, the timer uses your computer's internal clock to calculate the countdown. If I am correct, that means headstart begins at 9am pst/pdt (Arenanet's time). However, he also said that he would have the web guys look at it so it may be best to wait until tomorrow to really decide when it is. :)

Me and you are getting the same time.I live in FL(East Coast) and for me it's 12/noon. So it would be 9am for all you PDT. Hay that just means you get to play at 9 and I have to wait till Noon....

No worries.

It is strange though.  I just pulled out an antique laptop that has not seen the light of day since before I had even heard of GW2.  It gives the same thing with both FF and IE.

I know. o_o But you said to her that she should click on the tabs, while in the screen it's quite obvious that she doesn't have any tabs at all. So her problem wasn't that, her problem is that the browser still loads the old page.

That's why I told her to delete her cache. Because deleting the cache will make the page update. It's quite a normal problem, whenever you don't see the most up to date page, you should always delete your cache. But she prefered to ignore me. u_u And because of that she will live with the old page. (?) Until she die, and the worms eat her. And I saw her tomb and laugh with a diabolical laugh, while she still has the old page. *-*

It seems the countdown is looking at youre LOCAL time and always pointing at NOON for EVERY land. Its ignoring time zones.
Example: For me hes pointing to noon in germany (MESZ). That cant be. That would be 3 AM (PDT). Its buggy.
