I was thinking a really crazy event which some might appreciate would be a world event where ai enemies are trying to take over the whole world. Similar to like lord of the rings with saurans army or like 28 days later where zombies are trying to take over.
Wait what..? Those are mindless infected people who are heeding to their basic, primitive instinct.. totally not trying to take over the world...
obviously this would be done in the future where players are more experienced and established. This would mean certain parts of the world would fall to the enemy and a world wide community group we could be trying to figure out how to stop it. Guild captains who have really large followers and experience could be put in charge to lead people in certain areas and we can have a forum board to discuss if we should fall back here instead of losing many lives or reinforce that part of the world.
Well.. I think meta events will work along these lines, at least it was mentioned that by a meta ice boss the whole zone's climate could change to snowstorm or something alogn the lines, and it would require a big-scaled grouping in order to defeat.
My other ideas could be similar to the olympics where each class fights each other and takes place in heats to decide who will represent themselves in different categories then each build or class would fight it out once the group or people have been chosen.
Maybe just because I'm a bit tired, but couldn't understand half of it.
last ideas maybe in pvp we can do different modes like in call of duty, zombie mode, just knife mode
I can't see what does this have to do with your proposed PvE idea.. nonetheless, they just don't fit GW2.
and the other ideas i saw online with skills being being sold in shop that can be swapped out with the same skill but different animation.
What does this have to do with the promosed PvE event thread of yours..? Also, it won't happen just as the mirrored weapon-wielding (what lefties were whining for long ago) as Anet stated that they want to make PvP an Esport: which means that by looking at you and your skills, the enemy should be able to tell what the hell is going on. With new animations, people would need to learn more unnecessarily.
