So Vulnerability lowers the target's armor. The wiki says:
The amount of defense removed by vulnerability is determined by the following formula:
0.3125 * Level + 5 Defense per stack
The limits are –5 Defense at level 1 and –30 Defense at level 80.
1. Does the limit above tell us how much you can reduce armor by? Or the amount armor can be reduced to?
2. Does -Defense on our target improve our damage with conditions like bleed, poison, or burning?
3. Do we have any idea how much more damage -defense (vulnerability) makes our target take? Let's say with 5, 10, and 15 stacks @ level 80.
4. Does the above depend more on the target's armor type? Like bigger reductions on heavier armor because they have more armor to remove? Or would it just take less Vulnerability to bring light armors to the limit?
Thanks!

1. Vulnerability like all conditions stacks 25 times. Use that formula and see what happens. Given that it can stack 25 times do you think the limit is per stack or total?
2. Conditions never take into account your targets defense
3. It's a multiplicative increase and it matters how much armor that they have.
4. The effect does not change the amount that vulnerability decreases. Lighter armors would just be more affected.

1. It's reduced by that amount.
2. nope, it only improves damage when a targets defense is taken into consideration. no conditions since they ignore armor.
3. Right now it is believed that defense is a divisor in the damage calculation. The closer you can get the target to 0 the more effective vulnerability is; so the 2nd stack gives a larger damage increase than the first. The % your damage improves by vulnerability (assuming defense is a divisor as suspected) is 1-(d/(d-(v*30)) d= targets defense v=number of stacks of vunerability @ level 80.
4. it is actually more effective vs lighter armor targets. A counter to vulnerability is to actually stack toughness, a moderate amount of toughness can reduce the effectiveness of vulnerability by about a quarter. A lot of toughness can reduce it's effectiveness by more than half. I don't know if there is a cap on just how low your armor can be reduced, or if it's already figured into the 25 stack cap, which will cap at about 68% improved damage on light amor target with base toughness.

a1)i think its how much armor can be reduced BY. but i am not sure
2)no, conditions always goes around defense.
3)it is quite alot, was using it with my warrior in a build in bwe2, were 5-8 stacks increase damage by 30-40%, i dont have precise numbers and my memory may be wrong, but i remember it to do quite alot.
4)i am not sure, but i dont think there is a diference in the flat amount of armor reduced, however if the flat amount is the same, the % amount of damage increase will be different, depending on how the system works(cant quite remember)
