Hi!

Been browsing through all sorts of GW2 information lately, and this game seems very promising to say at least.

However, I haven't found any info on below two armor sets.
-Do you guys know their names, and if they are somehow restricted to a certain (heavy armor) class?

I believe they might be aquired through PVP

It's definitely an sPvP reward, it was taken at the PvP locker. There was a thread on all the sPvP rewards earlier, but the poster never mentioned names.

yepp, thats where I found those, but as you say, no names mentioned.

The first set is called Pit Fighter. The second one is called Heavy Armageddon. I know because I screenshotted with the name as well.

Can both Warriors and Guardians wear them? or are they bound to a certain class perhaps?

Both Warriors and Guardians are Heavy Armor classes. This is a Heavy Armor outfit, and classes aren't restricted to "Guardian Only or Warrior Only" type of stuff.
So yeah, you can have this set for both fellas.

I doubted myself there would be any class restrictions within certain armor types, but I figured I might ask since I still having a hard time deciding what class to roll first

So... I'm sure we've all come across some really cool looking armours so far, but problem for some of us is... we don't know where to find them, because they're on someone else!


So basically, post a screen shot of the armour and hope someone else knows where to find it.

All armours in PvP ARE available in PvE. Even the Hereo's of Destiney's Edge armour's are available to wear. They're just the hgighest level cultural armours.

I was wondering if anyone know where to get the armafgedeon armor? It's the spikey one which looks like this.


THe Pualdrons and guantlets are all i want.

Haha, this happened to me too. Someone could tell me where can I find the "cabalist" armor in PVE? It's the one that human necromancer/elementalist Sylvari are wearing at the character creator. I think that it is a really pretty armor but I can't find it anywhere...

That set is like everywhere. Its a random word drop mostly. Every piece of armor I find at level 80 is "cabalist"

I've had several Cabalist pieces drop for me in the lower end of Lornar's Pass (the lvl 40 area) and the lvl 40+ areas seem to start dropping more varied gear all around.

So, I found out the name of the armour from my post.

It's called Draconic armour, it's level 80 exotic armour... and it's going for large sums of gold on the TP, just for individual pieces.

I wonder where I can get it?

Armorsmithing Level 400 is what you need.

Play your storyline up to level 30, you should've been able to joined one of the three Orders by then and also visited their headquarters. At said place is usually an armorsmith and weaponsmith selling Order armor and weapons. It's level 80 gear of rare quality.

Yes, it's exotic armor. You'll also need Globs of Ectoplasm for the insignias, 5 of each for one insignia, so 30 for a whole set, along with other various items such as Orichalcum Ingots.

It's on Bloodtide Coast. There's a skill point near a tent that has you fighting a member of the Order in a cave. Got to the back of that cave and in the next area go up to the second level. The merchants aren't marked so you have to find them on your own. The weapon merch is in a group of other npcs and the armor merch is by herself.

Where do you find this armor? I've seen it mentioned as a PvP set called either Commando or Highwayman, I think. Is there a PvE equivalent, and if so, what's it called and what level is it?

I wish I knew where is the recipe for the Devout Armor. I was told it could be crafted by tailors, but I haven't found the recipe yet.

I don't ask for much this year, usualy I dont ask for anything at all. Not because I don't believe in you guys, its because there is nothing I really want. But this year is different. I want something. I want this particular armor set. I don't ask of you guys to give the whole set to me, just point me in the general direction of obtaining this armor. I ask only for that to know where from to get this armor set.

You can get this armor set from the renown heart karma vendors in Fireheart Rise

Didn't realise this thread existed until now, Im looking for this armor. From what I've heard you can get it from lvl70+ personal story quests. Anyone who knows specifically wich quests and at what lvls? Is there any other way of getting it? It's my favorite set
