Everyday I seem to be greeted by this lovely sylvari in LA. I only want to know what they're wearing on the upper half of their body. (Chest, Shoulders)

Looks like Stately Chest and Shoulders to me.

They are Karma Rewards from the level 40-80 Zones I believe (as long as it is not Orr)
Heck, I use those Shoulder Pads myself for one of my transmuted outfits.

stately.  I got the coat in Dredgehaunt cliffs on my necro, and the whole set is there on the heart vendors.

I think the chest and shoulders of that set are also available as rewards from some of the personal story quests. Not sure if any of the other pieces can be gained that way as well.

What I know so far:
The PvP name is 'commando'.
It's the medium helm used by Lionguard.
Most LG armor is in Bloodtide coast, but this armor is not.
It does NOT appear with the rest of the set in Fireheart Rise or Orr.  The helm given in place of the proper one is:
This helm is part of the Gunner's set as well, meaning it appears in two different sets.

Anyone had ANY luck on this piece of gear?

Is there any type of blindfold for medium armor? I haven´t seen any so far.

Not that I know off. The blindfold is only for the light armor named Berserker Acolyte or any of the "named" armors.

any of the named heavy armor sets like devona's or such have this skin IIRC.

There are themed armor sets named after some of the heroes from the first Guild Wars game. The only differences to other available armor is the stat combinations (some of which can't be found from crafted sets etc.). They all share the armor skin of the respective lvl 70-79 exotic light/medium/heavy sets available as zone completion rewards etc. including the Pit Fighter set for heavy armor you posted earlier.

So the only way to get the full armor of Pit Fighter is completing maps? And if it doesn't drop, the only way is buy it in the Trading Post?

PS: The Pit Fighter skin that i'm talking about it the one that i linked before, because in PVE we have lots of them called Pit Fighter's armor and it doesn't look like that one linked.

There is one called Pit Fighter that has the same skin as the one you linked. So in PvE there are two ways to get that skin. Named ones as Matsif and Pariah said. Or Pit Fighter. The Pit Fighter is from level 70-80 map completions. Very rare. So your best bet is to check the TP. Not a lot of them are level 80. When you search, select exotic in the filter. You will know its the skin you want since the armor icons are the same as in the PvP ones.

Hi all, I didn't feel like making a thread, but what light armors out there (hell, any armor) include a blindfold type thing? I know there is the Charr's cultural magus set, and the Seer set from PVP, but are there any others? I really like the ritualist aesthetic from GW1, with the blindfold and the dangly things, and I'm sort of trying to get that same image on my characters.

the only one that I know of is the PvP seer/PvE exotic acolyte/named sets

Everything else is correct, but the stalwart set doesn't appear to be available in PVE except for the coat. You get the coat through a level 30-something (36, possibly) personal story quest... around the time you're doing the first quests for your chosen faction. No one seems to know how to get any of the other pieces of the set. A shame, since I love the stalwart hat to death.

I am not an expert on Heavy armors but I think it is:

Chest: Order of Whispers
Leggings: Orrian Dungeon
Shoulders: Human Tier 3
Helmet: Caudecus's Manor Dungeon
Gloves: Human Tier 3 (not sure)
Boots: (not sure at all)

If I were to throw dyes out, my guess would be gold and blood... I can't really help ya here.

Boots are from Hotw ( Honor of the waves ), rest are spot on.

its either wool or cotton crafted armor from tailors, judging by the mask only though.
