Most of those random Mystic Forge equipment can usually be found in the Trading Post.

The answer is Cabalist Armor.  5th image from the left on the top row found here: http://www.gw2armorg...ht.htm#standard

The wiki says: Cabalist armor is a light armor set dropped in high level areas. It is also the armor skin used for the rare (not exotic) dungeon armors.

Which means you should be able to get it quite easily from the BL Trading Post.

I've been trying to figure out what chest and legs pieces (possibly shoulders as well) these are (attached image).  I've checked the wiki, run through the PvP locker twice, and checked a number of online galleries.  I think the shot glitched a bit, since I don't recall the one shoulder area being white.

The boots are the crafted Feathered set, the gloves look to be from the Seer set.  But I can't figure out the legs and chest - they look to be the same style/set.  The legs are similar to crafted Acolyte, but are different in a few ways.

I'm pretty sure this was a player, but I was in a bit of a rush at the time and quickly made this screenshot, so I might be mistaken.  I knew I'd seen it before, and sure enough, its from one of the original elementalist reveal screenshots:

Also, while browsing this thread, I noticed one person's gallery of armor showed it as well, though I'm not sure where it is other than charr territory and likely an NPC.

Unfortunately that armor set isn't available to players (not yet at least). The gallery you linked came out when the game came out and has a lot of NPC armors in it as well.

That is a shame, its one of the few female light armors that is both detailed and nearly the same as the male.  I suppose it was a Wintersday NPC that I screenshotted, tho I have a memory of there being a guild tag - maybe another player was nearby.

However an exact version of that armor does not exist. The one above is whispers heavy. Sometimes in the process of making armor they realize that it's a lot of work or does not look as good on paper, so they change it.

I don't think that concept art was for the whisper heavy armor. It might be just a concept that never they never made in the game or left for future expansions.

I do not think that is the concept art for heavy Whispers armor. Below is the concept art for both male and female and that looks nothing like them.

It's the WvW armor set that's bought with the Badges that drop from enemy players and jumping puzzle chests.

It looks extremely similar to Karma set.  Can't say if it was simply the inspiration for the karma set or if it just hasn't made it into the game.

By similar I mean the design/layout, not that it is so close it is almost the same.  I don't find to many armors that are that similar in lay out that exist in the game, so I am thinking it is an artist rendition of what became Karma set.

It's definately in the game since that's what Countess Anise wears. (well, at least the top part anyway.) Just not available for players, which is a shame.

That's the Leather Mask crafted by Leatherworkers starting at level 150 using tier 3 mats (coarse leather and cotton). The Noble Mask (rare gear crafted by Leatherworkers starting at level 200) is a similar monocular eyepiece, but I think it looks better because it doesn't have that strap across the right side of the face. The Noble version is identical to the Panscopic Monocle you can choose as starter gear for an engineer.

That doesnt mean it's not. This may be another version, or a whispers armor for a specific character. They look almost the same if you look into detals(of course there's big differences too though). However, I should have written "I think it is" rather
