Let's say I have an Engineer and I have abilities that puts on:
a 4 second Bleed
a 3 second Bleed
a 2 second Bleed
How does the duration change as I apply more?
Lets say I have the 2 second bleed on someone, and then I add the 4 second bleed.
So now there are 2 stacks (lets assume for simplicities sake they all each stack 1), but what is the duration?
I'm hoping the duration just keeps getting refreshed when a new stack is added, and lasts as long as the longest bleed applied.
Or, it could be that 1 bleed will expire in 2 seconds and the other will in 4 seconds, but I have no way of visually knowing that (except to watch the stack shrink without disappearing in 2 seconds).
Thanks!

The first stack will end after two seconds and the second one will end in 4 seconds.

Ret is spot on, but keep in mind duration buffs will round up any default duration time.
Example: Thief's Vital Shot = 4s bleed. 20% of 4 = .8 = a 5 sec bleed. Anything .5+ is rounded up.

Are you sure about anything .5+ rounding up? I have been hearing the opposite, that if you get a 2 second poison up to say, 2.9 seconds, it won't tick that extra time.

As far as I have heard from a few people on here and my own testing with a few conditions it rounds up on any condition/buff.

Good to know, I looked a little farther and found a few people saying it did and a few saying it didn't. I'll just have to test it myself I guess.

I believe the duration stacking and intensity stacking effects work differently with +duration.
Regarding the original question, the bleed icon will show the longest duration one and yes, for others you only see the stack size decrease when they end.

"It is currently unknown if or how duration is rounded when stacked (or otherwise modified), neither if the remainder value is used as a prorata on the intensity for the last split second."
