so there are plenty of boons to get (on yourself or allies) and conditions to use on enemies. But what about their usefulness? Do all boons and conditions (now B&C) look more or less useful or there are some pretty useless B&C?
Like might it increases power and condition damage by flat numbers. So it may scale poorly with a gear. At least for me it looks quite weak (especially in low stacks). While protection is damage reduction is percentage, so it will always be good).
Do you think if B&C poorly scales with gear will it be that good or you have some other concerns about B&C?

You are right about scaling. I missed that scaling with level (and max gear won't be changing that much). But what about usefulness of B&C in their current state? Are all B&C really worth to be used and traited (in expense of something else)?

i don't know about boons, but conditions are definitely worth traiting for.
I was able to do about 800 dps just on bleeds alone on my ranger.

I had similar experiences with condition builds on necro and thief. Without conditions I would have been far less effective.

What's not to like about boons?
Fury: Absolutely amazing for damage dealing.
Aegis: relatively weak but only one class provide the boon for the most part.
Might: 1 stack is irrelevant, but many classes can quickly and easily keep 10-20 stacks on them with little effort.
Protection: Absolutely amazing.
Regeneration: Doesn't provide a lot of healing but still incredibly helpful.
Retaliation: Most classes don't gain much from retaliation, but a Guardian can keep retaliation on an entire team with little to no effort, which can be amazing.
Swiftness: Absolutely amazing.
Vigor: buffs dodging and dodging is the best damage mitigation in the game, so this can be very benefitial.
As for being short lived, keep in mind that all classes can gain +30% boon duration from traits and +30% from runes if you desire it.

i find any of the boons helpful one way or another sometimes you may not notice it, but it does assist in holding down a point longer or surviving better
