Hello,
so there are plenty of boons to get (on yourself or allies) and conditions to use on enemies. But what about their usefulness? Do all boons and conditions (now B&C) look more or less useful or there are some pretty useless B&C?

Like might it increases power and condition damage by flat numbers. So it may scale poorly with a gear. At least for me it looks quite weak (especially in low stacks). While protection is damage reduction is percentage, so it will always be good).

Do you think if B&C  poorly scales with gear will it be that good or you have some other concerns about B&C?

Might increases Power and condition damage by 0.375 * Level + 5 Power/Condition Damage per stack, so it will always be relevant. Wondering about gear scalling is irrelevant when gear doesn't change that much within itself.

You are right about scaling. I missed that scaling with level (and max gear won't be changing that much). But what about usefulness of B&C in their current state? Are all B&C really worth to be used and traited (in expense of something else)?

i don't know about boons, but conditions are definitely worth traiting for.

I was able to do about 800 dps just on bleeds alone on my ranger.
It's ok to be takei rank 32 guardian

Are you sure that formula is right?

I had similar experiences with condition builds on necro and thief. Without conditions I would have been far less effective.

There are a lot of statements confirming the usefulness of conditions, but what about boons. They seem so short lived.

What's not to like about boons?

Fury: Absolutely amazing for damage dealing.
Aegis: relatively weak but only one class provide the boon for the most part.
Might: 1 stack is irrelevant, but many classes can quickly and easily keep 10-20 stacks on them with little effort.
Protection: Absolutely amazing.
Regeneration: Doesn't provide a lot of healing but still incredibly helpful.
Retaliation: Most classes don't gain much from retaliation, but a Guardian can keep retaliation on an entire team with little to no effort, which can be amazing.
Swiftness: Absolutely amazing.
Vigor: buffs dodging and dodging is the best damage mitigation in the game, so this can be very benefitial.

As for being short lived, keep in mind that all classes can gain +30% boon duration from traits and +30% from runes if you desire it.

most boons have a stack if i remember, i stacked regeneration and because the deration on it was longer i got my full health back during a battle.
i find any of the boons helpful one way or another sometimes you may not notice it, but it does assist in holding down a point longer or surviving better

It's correct, you'll get 35 power/condition damage at 80.

800? I've seen and played a number of builds that can push over 4k DPS in conditions. People just melt.

It's not correct for other levels though.

With the exception of the weak regeneration, every boon is quite strong when put into GW1 terms. Look at the wiki page and you'll see how strong each boon actually is.
