Did you see anything like this, or were you able to look into this in a multi target situation at all?

Actualy i didnt. Ill look into that! That is interesting.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. When against a thief if they stealth or go to attack you a great counter to their initial burst is arcane shield.

At least against backstab thiefs, it blocks the steal and backstab essentially negating those 2 bursts together than when they are out of stealth you can CC (updraft) ect and burn them down.
