First of all, I've always wanted to keep my original guardian in a heavily armoured look, yet I find myself greatly displeased with the leg-wear options available to do so in a fashionable way. Initially, I wanted to dress her in full carapace armour, but one glance at the backside made me wonder in horror who decided to put that awful butterfly-whatever thing there - granny much?
Funny enough, I pulled a little retro in the end and didn't include a single piece of the carapace at all:
Secondly, on my other guard I wanted to keep a bit of a lighter outfit. To my great surprise, the carapace chest-piece fitted into my already existing mix quite well. I've had this look in mind for quite some time now, but of course Anet had to hand out the chest-piece last...
Finally done and happy

Nothing too extravagant, but I finally put together my Sunspear paragon from GW Nightfall. Scepter+Shield was the closest I could come without actual spears. The scepter still gives him range, too. Celestial and pyre dye.

Anyway, she might not be the most original or unique guardian, but i really like her (^.^).
For anyone wondering :
Headpiece : Adventurer's Scarf
Shoulders : Carapace Pauldron
Backpiece : Light Of Dwayna
The rest : Phalanx Armor Set
Dyes : Flame, Abyss and Celestial

And the most recent one, which is pretty much a recolor and some hair changes.
Oh wait! I have 2 guardians! They both share their taste for being shirtless too.
