This was nice to hear:

Quote

Ten Ton Hammer: We don’t know the fate of people like Dougal Keane, but will players be able to interact with some of the books major characters in Guild Wars 2?

Jeff Grubb: Yes. And Dougal will be part of the game. There are characters that we’ve introduced in the novel that we’ve pulled over and put into the game as well. And some of these are major characters and some are minor characters. So there is a strong connection between the game and the book.

Thanks for posting. :)

I just realized I put the source infront of the name. Crap, I did that because that's how I organize my own GW2 links on another forum...

They should put a Flash Flood Advisory before posting so much stuff in one day! I liked this interview more then the other on GoA.

^ Tbh, I was surprised at how many stuff they've talked about these days and released info. But, when I've read it all (a few times), I want more! :D

Nice interview.  Very happy to hear that the characters will be in the game.  I really enjoy how ArenaNet gets into adding to the lore.

Same, after reading the first three chapters, I wanted to continue. It really picks up after that first one. >.<

I've come to terms and absorbed what they have released, but I can't really demand more information at the moment. Still can't wait till next week, or the weeks after, or PAX. ;)

I second that as well. I was hoping that they'd put the characters from the books in the game. I just hope it's not just in passing and that the game doesn't break from the characters character in the books and vice versa. :)

I second it as well, it's like you have the regular gw manuals where we see some characters that is in the game, but instead of a page to describe them, we get a full book!

We have very medieval-type of castles and farms and a very traditional fantasy feel in the human areas, but the legal system functions differently at the high levels than at the low levels. In other words, bringing charges against a minister, who is one of the rulers, is very different than charges brought against a supposed tomb robber who is originally from Ascalon but has been living in Ebonhawke.

So human justice is not blind?
