After all the great experiences we've had on AURORA GLADE during the BWEs, we decided to establish a base of operations for all the players on Aurora Glade out there!

You can find us on http://www.auroraglade.com (hosted on enjin at the moment) while we're waiting for our fellow AG players to join us... however, we are considering changing to a self-hosted site in the near future. In this discussion, we'd like to hear your opinion! It's your chance to bring up your own wishes, tell us what you want from your server community site, and we will see that we can implement all the features we'll need to have a happy and well-functioning community.

Through the first Aurora Glade Community site there was, we hope to be able to provide you a place beyond guilds.
A place where you can share ideas, ask for help, discuss WvWvW strategies or just get to know your server mates. Our community site is also a great place to look for a guild if you haven't found yours already!

There is no kind of application process. All we need to know is your user ID and the name of your main ingame character. As soon as the game is released, we will check your names and see if you are really on Aurora Glade. This way, we make sure none of the enemies can spy on us! Hah!
Also, there isn't any kind of hierarchy. We are all equal players, and we want to keep it that way on the forums. Everyone is free to organise contests, write guides, share tips or create whitty comics. Anyway, the founders of the site will naturally always be there to make sure you don't get bored

And don't be afraid; from what we've experienced, the peeps on Aurora Glade are a bunch of laid back, friendly players, so check out our site and make yourself at home!

We want to inform you that the page is MOVING! Within the next 4-8 months, we'll sadly only be able to give you a very basic base of operations; after that period of time, however, you'll be able to enjoy the new website with new content, design, etc.... the URL stays the same, so you will at all times be able to reach us under www.auroraglade.com!

Finally... we may have lost many fights and players, but we have not lost our fighting spirit!
After 3 months of work, desperation and a inhumane lack of time to play GW2, we finally finished work on the new Aurora Glade forums!

We waited long enough for an opportunity to coordinate on our server... now you get the chance! There are forums for general chitchat, PvE things, and naturally WvW.
There is also a global Aurora Glade alliance forming. If you're member or leader of a guild you might be interested, as the members of this alliance are all laid back, professional AND ambitous players. Impossible, you think? Well, see for yourself...
We also offer a 200 slot mumble server; Aeraeni from [FURY] was kind enough to pay for it for now!

You will also find all the information about server-wide events on these forums, e.g. the WvW event that Skly from [UNTY] is organising at the moment!

Last but not least, guilds will have the opportunity to apply for a forum section on there - no need to set up your own forums anymore, we will host it for you on the AG forums and thus, make it easily accessible for all the players on Aurora glade!

We would be very happy to meet all the players from Aurora Glade on www.auroraglade.com (or alternatively www.auroraglade.eu)! So be it... let the communication begin!

Aurora Glade is back to its old strength!

We are now a Tier 4 server, our forums count almost 800 members and 3000 posts - still growing. Many of our members show great initiative, organise events all by themselves, do everything they can to help other players and we even have Uncle Kraag showing you the ways of WvW.

We converted the forums to a different software this weekend and we will soon have a working blog, where members (sorry, guests and spies ) can read about our newest events and accomplishments. If you play on Aurora Glade, be sure to head over to http://www.auroraglade.eu !

After a general spring clean-up, we're now back at almost 900 members! Amazing to get back to such high numbers in so little time.

Also, we now have established a small guild collective, the SGC; it's meant to function as an umbrella alliance for all the small guilds on Aurora Glade. If you're online and don't see many guildies online, or can't seem to find some more guildies to join you in that dungeon run, you can have a look at the SGC roster, pick a random representative from another small guild and ask them to ask around in their guild if anyone is up for a dungeon run. It's basically an assorted and extended friend list, but at the same time we have a few alliance commanders that unite all the small guilds for a weekly WvW session. Curious? Have a look!
