First I would like to thank Khalija for letting me post this in here.

Guild Wars 2 Riches is an economic based community. We are all focused on making gold in Guild Wars 2 using only methods which are legitimate and do not break the rules set up by ArenaNet. If you’ve played MMO’s in the past you know they are many times more fun when you’ve got gold to spend on different fun things the game has to offer. That is the very reason why these shady gold selling sites exist and ruin games for all of us. That is also the reason why there are these scammy people who put out gold guides for games which claim to have all the secret strategies to get you rich. I assure you--they don’t. They have the same strategies as anyone else. The only difference is they are getting you to pay for them to tell you.

When I decided to get involved with the community for Guild Wars 2 I wanted to do something that really helped players out in the game. That is when I decided to make GuildWars2Riches.COM. I decided I was going to make a site to help players make gold. I also decided is was going to be 100% FREE. I’m not out to sell you a guide or service. I’m not even doing this to make a penny. It is entirely a labor of love for me because I enjoy Guild Wars 2 just like all of you.

If you are looking to make gold, have fun doing it, interact with friendly people and have a place to bounce ideas off of other people then come give GuildWars2Riches.COM a look. It is a place free of trolling and drama. It is a friendly place where there such thing as a bad idea. The only bad ideas, as far as we are concerned, are the ones that never brought up and/or perfected.

I'm sure you all notice some silly accusations about my site in the replies below from Markco.  He and I have a long history dating back to World Of Warcraft.  He routinely brings on drama no matter where he is and I just want to let you guys know what this time is all about.

I'm trying to at a chatroom to my site.  I have chatango right now and its pretty bad.  does anyone have a suggestion for something better that is inexpensive or even better...free?

I am waiting to hear from the owner of this site. I want confirmation before I take action. I am one of the blogs that he mentions that he is linked to. And it is true. I never knew that he was attempting to sell the blog, and thus put my FRIENDS who read my blog in danger of having their email addresses sold.

I would like answers now please. Explain this to me where I don't feel used please.

As I stated in the article, there's nothing wrong with selling the email list allongside the site, except when you don't warn people about your intentions. Who knows what the new owner will do to the email list.

Hey all.  If you want to see what all this is about it is on my blog right now.   THE SITE IS NOT GOING TO BE SOLD.  I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY INTENTION OR BELIEVE THAT IT WOULD SELL WHEN I LISTED IT FOR $8,000.

I wanted to determine its worth so I had a ballpark guess as to how much money I wanted to put into it.

This is completely false. You originally posted your website for $2,000. After my comments on flippa where I questioned your motives (and you deleted them), only then did you start raising the price to $8,000.

One does not pretend to sell a website on flippa, as it certainly does cost money to list it.

I repeat IT COSTS MONEY TO LIST A SITE ON FLIPPA.

You're absolutely right.  It does.  Given that I have a full time job outside of doing this and disposable income I could afford the $30 it took to list it.  If I was going to find out how much money I was going to pump into it don't you think $30 is a drop in the bucket?

Are you done here Markco?  You and I both know why you really did this today so I'm just going to take the high road here and let you have you moment.

Your "high road" is pretty low by most people's standards.

Creating a post on your blog where you lie and say that I once "sold people's email addresses without them knowing" is not exactly the high road. I gave several months of warning to those involved.

Also, changing your flippa listing to $8,000 and un-deleting my comments does not somehow make people believe your story.

EDIT: You know what's funny, I almost bought your site for $2,000 when you initially listed it. I was seriously considering it until you deleted my comments. Can you imagine if I bought it when you were "pretending to sell"?

I see you compared it to a car on your site, but that makes no sense.

A website is not like a car. What you're selling is a domain name- there's nothing noteworthy about the site itself. It doesn't have a cap on its potential value- the more unique hits it gets the more it becomes worth. It isn't like you have a 94 ford with body damage that will never be worth more than 1000 bucks.


edit 2: just read the rest of your post- so you want nothing to do with someone so you purposely posted it for sale somewhere they'd see to cause drama?  The whole thing seems a little fishy.

Okay, drama ends here. I suggest that before you sign up to this guy's site that you determine if you're okay with your email being sold off to the highest bidder (and that you remember this for future blogs/sites). Other than that, if the OP's being truthful here, great for him and we hope he continues his articles.

I don't plan on removing any of the posts above because I think the community needs to see them. But no more. If you come across any new info on this in the future, you can PM me.

the websites seems good, although the content probably can be found from gw2guru and such other gw2 forum fansites...
but it nice to have a website that compiled it in one place to make it easier for other to find and read the guide...

but i highly doubt all the content in that website is 'originally made by him only'.... so i feel a bit sad that your website listed other people website is "a copy of my website" when "your website is just a copy and compilation from other gw2 forum fan site post"...

but like i said, it's really nice to have a website that compiled it in one place, so keep up the good work
