Should Time Warp be a Glamour?

Just a thought. It pretty much qualifies as a Glamour and would be cool to have it be affected by Glamour traits. Plus, Mesmer is the only profession (apart from Guardian) who doesn't have an Elite related to one of its unique skill types.

elite skills aren't always affected by traits even if they are a traitble skill type

The Guardian at least has an elite that relates to their mechanic. We have nothing at all that has to do with our profession. Nothing that affects shatters, no special ability types, nothing. I'm not saying we NEED it, but it would be nice. I'd love to see a "Conjure Nightmare" elite Phantasm or something, or maybe a form that has unique Clones/Phantasms linked to it.
Anyhow, Time Warp DOES qualify as a Glamour and really should be labeled as such. The only problem with that is if they have to consider it taking advantage of Glamour traits then they might nerf it. It's currently the longest duration multi target quickness in the game, and it's a combo field on top of that (not that I feel ethereal is a particularly useful field as far as they go).

If Time Wrap was a glamour, it could potentially last 13 seconds, have a cooldown of 168 seconds instead of 210, and blind + confuse enemies who enter the area if traited. Thus as Dastion said, it would have to be nerfed some. They could label it a glamour for accuracy but not have it affected by skill traits, like some other elites.

I feel like the engineers got this kind of situation right. It is generally clear that their elite skills aren't effected by most traits. Not as clear as I'd like, but the trend is at least there. They then have the trait, Elite Supplies, which improves all three elite skills. Guardian's went a similar route with Elite Focus, though it only affects the two tombs.
By not letting elites benefit from tons of synergy bonuses from other traits, they can be left as powerful as intended. But by offering a trait specific to elite skills, players can still emphasize them if they choose. An even more powerful Time Warp would be bloody crazy, but if you had to invest an entire major trait to get it, rather than just as a byproduct of specializing in other utility skills, then I'd be comfortable with that.
But whatever they choose, I hope they choose to do so across all professions. I feel that having to lookup, experiment and guess at what traits work isn't particularly intuitive to players.

Yeah, tooltips/traits need clarification for sure. Time Warp is my Elite of choice and would love a shorter cd on it, that said...when used properly, it can be a guaranteed kill against a rather unintelligent player (which is kind of the point of an elite imo). Elite's should be powerful, they should give the player a significant advantage requiring their opponent to overcome through superior gameplay, or just plain RLH from you.

It's already the strongest elite in the game for the most part. Having it be effected by glamour traits and stuff would just be over the top.
Actually that's probably the reason why it isn't considered a glamour spell.

If that's true, I'll be looking forward to a 13 second, 168 cooldown Time Wrap.
