Does anyone sincerely think they add anything fun at all to the game? I don't know if they get harder as you progress through the zones, but calling them puzzles is an insult to anyone with an average IQ..
EDIT/
I mistook vistas for puzzles, no need to go on about this I think.

They're fun... different... can be challenging... I mean, why not? Am not a big fan of them but they're good for a laugh sometimes... and figuring out the vista ones is a little light relief from fighting.

Question, feedback or issue? Pm me!

I think they're fun. *shrug*
Having them is better than NOT having them.
What would you prefer them to be called?

I like them and I think it's one of the best parts of this game. You can call me stupid if you want.

If you don't like them, you can just ignore them.

They are a unique bit of content. Whether they're hard or not isn't really an issue to me. They provoke a little more exploration of the game world which is nice.

I like jumping puzzles. Reminds me a bit of the CS jump maps.

Which ones are you doing? The vista's are simple enough maybe because Anet knew people will go like "waaa these are hard! I don't want to do em to get 100%" but ones that are off the beaten track not so much the one in metrica province that has 4 stages has some difficult parts to it.

Maybe jumping platformers would be a better name, but I find them really fun (although as you mention, not very puzzling).

How does a hand-eye coordination puzzle insult anyone based on their IQ?

Meh, I like them. Nice to have something different from the norm to do if I so choose.

Well I think they're fun. But I like climbing up high on things and getting a new view. Mostly it's just fun to climb up to these odd places, so I'm glad they made it doable.

This.

-edit-

To elaborate i was doing a heart quest during one of the bwe's and bumped into one.

it got a curiosity peaked, So i gave it ago.

Parts of it were pretty tricky, as i was doing the puzzle friends on mumble asked what i was doing, so i told them to which they found curiosity aswell so ended up with 5 of us doing the same one with plenty of hillarity at each other falling off at the tricky parts.

Granted when you have done it once there is no real reason to do it again, so replayability factor is a tad on the low side.

but they are there for "FUN" for the most part.

Is that not the idea of gaming? If not i have been gaming for far to many years for the wrong reason.

I assumed someone was gonna write that, and yes. I could. But that's beside the point. The question was if anyone though they were fun, and clearly some do, I'm not here to talk smack, just posing a question.

I'm not sure how visually perceiving a path has anything to do with coordination.

If you are having problems with them, I believe the GW2 wiki has solutions for some of them.

I can't voice an opinion on them as I haven't run across one yet.

Why do they have to be difficult to be fun? They're a nice diversion from combat and nothing more. If you don't like them don't do them.

Ok they're not really puzzles, but hell, they are fun.
If the term 'puzzles' is seriously what is bugging you about them, perhaps you need to learn to be less serious about semantics in a video game fantasy.

What is fun for others may not be fun for OP and this thread is really not needed, like they say" each to their own"

The question is so stupid that I think you should worry about your IQ before the others, if you come here insulting people because you don't like something and trying to sound smart... well, you get this kind of answers.

Because they're fun, obvious answer.

I thought I was pretty clear in that I'm not bashing the puzzles. Simply asking if anyone found them fun at all.
