Anyway, I hope that they get harder on higher zones, once you get used to the low level zones jumps they become easy.

As hard and frustrating as I found them (I'm sure they weren't for a lot of people), I still had a lot of fun. Heck, I spent close to two hours just for Goem's Labb... And they're completely optional. You don't get anything except some experience and normal loot from playing them (and an achievement, I think?), so, why the heck not? It's not like you'll miss anything important from skiping them. They're there for those who appreciate it and it's a very small awesome detail.
Again, this coming from someone who has no previous experience with platform-esque games that found the jumping puzzles excruciating, but still a lot of fun.

They aren't a problem for me then. My IQ is said to be way above average. ^^
But tbh, haven't tried them yet. But just the name jumping puzzle makes it sound like those could get really annoying at some point.... :-/ And the point of those puzzles, kill time.

Well it didn't realy sound like if you are only curious about people's opinion. To me it just sounded like you wanna let us know that you find them easy and useless.
Don't forget we didn't see many high-lvl zones with their jumping puzzles, most probably we will see harder puzzles there just like harder DEs.
To be honest i think the jumping puzzle in WvWvW is quite fun and challenging.

Also, it's a platformer mechanic that doesn't do well due to the nature of MMO engine optimization.
Used sparingly, it would have been cool. But as an extensive form of content? Eek.

You weren't clear and you weren't simply asking a question. Your snide comment about anyone with an IQ is going to get you snide responses. So don't act surprised.
Anyway, they aren't my favorite thing that's for sure, but it add something to the game and I'm all for more content and more things to do. There is no reason NOT to have jumping puzzles, so why not? It's nothing mandatory, just a nice distraction.
But no I do not find them fun, however I think they provide a nice variety and challenge when it comes to getting all the skill points and go after the map completion.

That's due to not really being an engine built for this kind of precise, responsive control.
But, my hunch is they'll figure out some sort of buff for the cash shop that will make them more palatable.

Great fun, some are very difficult and include mini-bosses that can't be solo'd, traps set off by other players, in pvp areas, etc. Plus adds a great aspect to world exploration since so many are hidden.

Well, that wasn't my intention at all, and I'll admit to, "write first and think later" half the time. I guess I was trying to put my own subjective thoughts as well as the question in the title, which wasn't very smart obviously :-)

It's a fun activity outside of the norm that people do for various reasons. So, yes, it's fun.

Serioiusly, is it that *ing hard? It's unbelieveable the amount of people that bitch about things that are 100% optional in the game.

Somebody with an average IQ would know that jumping puzzles don't measure IQ at all. They measure your sense of 3D space (the jumping), possibly your understanding of the game and in the best cases your imagination when you need to figure out a harder route, which doesn't happen in all puzzles as it can be challenging for some players. Not every puzzle can be very, very hard.
As for do I think that they're fun? Yes I do. Of course the simplest ones (vistas) aren't all that challenging and should they be placed in a bland, grey room, I wouldn't enjoy them. To me the point of the puzzles is to see the surroundings. They provide remarkable views (not only vistas). In best cases the jumping puzzle is hidden so that you find the starting platform by accident. If one doesn't watch all the videos about the puzzles, I'm sure that these precious moments can happen to every player during their PvE experience.

Do you EVER stop moaning and being negative, some of your points are relevant but are mostly ignored because you moan about everything. Every thread for months now.... sheesh, the very sight of your forum picture has become like sandpaper being rubbed on my soft parts.

I'm not gonna argue with people who say they find them fun just because I don't agree. I'm shocked at how offended people get :S
Maybe i used a bad set of words, but I don't deserve to be burned for it, geez. Ya'll need to chill
