However, I keep seeing it in other people's beta vids that there is a graphical mechanic to do with scaling that makes hunters call seem ridiculous. The same scaling concept that when asuras pick up a hammer, that same hammer is scaled up for a norn so that the weapon looks proportional (note that this also works for environmental weapons..and actually I think it looks a bit silly there too but nevermind...)
Skill animations also scale up by the looks of it, depending not on the size of the caster (as would make sense...) but the size of the creature being attacked with it - this results is some RIDICULOUS scaling - having massive great griffin hawks swooping down on veteran bosses, or even larger races like charr/norn (I have attached an example from an asura starter area).
I can only imagine someone summon them on the Shatterer....
Does anyone else have experience of this? does it bother anyone else? (I mean...hawks are the size of hawks >.> scaling it seems like a silly oversight) am I just being neurotic?
