May be "sons" ... but I just don't hear "stars" at all ...

The t is very soft and the a makes more of an ah sound. That is probably why you think you hear suns and not stars.

I am really the odd man out on this. Listened eight more times and still don't hear 'stars'.

In the end, it's a lovely song and that's all that matters!

Am I the only one who thinks this is an abomination? I find it funny that the piano score had an infinitely lager emotional range than the vocals. As for the lyrics, they might have just been saying "dark stuff happens heroes do stuff too" for all their blandness. I know its a sample, but I just don't see how this is an improvement on one of Soule's better melodies. Also, the vocals sound like every Disney princess song ever, it would've been even less cheesy to go the symphonic metal route and have them done by a female soprano, and thats saying something.

Tarja would be perfect for this (the former singer for Nightwish)

Personally, I think it sounds awful ;s

The original piece was brilliant, and the piano version is always on my playlist.

This sounds like under-produced tripe. The vocalist sounds like an "every other" generic female singer. The lyrics are pure cheese, without any consistency or depth. The composition does not support a vocal component, at least not using the main progression. It feels very much like the vocals were tacked on, rather than being part of the actual music.

Perhaps the full song will change my mind, but so far I am direly unimpressed.

I believe these parts are supposed to be:
-Aurora's make circumstance feel the solitude of our live.
-Pleading sunny aria gently grieving in captive misery.
-Darkness sings upon our soul yet hope can still rise up.
