Agreed with Morag D, you have a way with lighting. And colours. I love the contrasts and how natural they look, along with how light grabs the attention and makes the character really stand out.

I haven’t seen more convincing sylvari drawings than these. Staggering anatomy detail. Good choice of lightning and colours, along with the in comparison perfectly minimalistic backgrounds. I wish to see more, so I hope you’ll soon feel the desire to upload more of your work, whether or not it’s related to gw2 and if here or somewhere else.

Can I use “Dreamer” as my desktop background?

Thank you! It's very hard for me to say how long i spent on it, all i really know is that it was about a week spread between work and playing GW2 xD One thing i can say for sure is that i am super slow take my time (:

Thanks Archaes! The wallpaper is essentially a cacophony of textures and layer blending, if you're looking to try it yourself i'd recommend fiddling with layer blending modes to get the effects you want xD
Another tip i can offer from experience is to take your character screenshots in the Hall of Monuments! There is a spot to the left of the hallway that is nice and dark, never changes time of day and has really nice character lighting! (http://i.imgur.com/WSy8k.jpg > http://i.imgur.com/Y4quQ.jpg )

Really wonderful contribution.   Very nice job on those asura faces.  The whole scene really has a cozy feel.  Something one doesn't usually associate with asura but it works perfectly.   Well done!
