+ 4 walking Ranger Spirits
+ a %Summoning Rune-set
+ Norn Racial Call Wurm/Owl

And you'd officially be a pokemon master (Btw thats 12 pets when the stars align)

You can't have 3 spirit utilities + 1 call spirit norn utility + elite spirit skill + elite mistfire wolf at the same time.

Depending on where the skirt is connected, the pants might just be pants and thus usable in combo with another skirtless top. It looks like it's connected to the coat and not the hips, but you never know.

Well, we will in a week, asdfasdasdf

And that medium armor should look good in game: that is a low- or medium-res screenshot and the dyes are meh. I might use a combo of very dark brown and red, or black and white, or something contrasty to bring some of the details out.

A lot of the pants from medium armors are just pants, but there are almost no tops that do not have a coat attached to it.

The pants part was regarding the light set.

The wolf looks great, glad I picked ranger!

Does anyone know how the armor will work exactly? Has it been confirmed yet? What I mean is for example will the armor rating change with your level? Or will you have to upgrade it yourself somehow?

the HoM items are simply skins, you doubleclick them and apply them to the item you want to change skin from. So if you want to keep hom armor from lvl1 to 80 then everytime you switch armor you'll have to get a new set and apply the skin again

And re: how the armor works: unless they changed something, it should be skins that you can apply to your armor without t-stones, and that you can create as often as you want.

Now, if we assume that this picture is the female version of light heritage armor

Posted Image

do you think it will be like the gw1 version where the pants are actually shortpants with the whole dress being to top part? or do you think they split it in the middle?

Oh, boy, I'm not sure about the female version at all. And I think that may be said female version, though it may not be exactly the same since the heritage version is taken from the box art and not the other way around.

if it keeps the same elegant style i'l be happy. I loved that armor on my mesmer. I really hope it's close to this, the heavy version is surprisingly close to the warrior box art. Fingers crossed xD

Yeah. :33

Even for complaints about long coats, this is pretty closely based on several GW1 mesmer armors.

The Armor is great, the Wolf looks awesome, and the mini looks like if he wants to take down the elder dragons solo ( and he prolly could). My only question in the back of my head is...How do we actually get them, I mean we all read wiki about the HoM, but when are they gonna offically say "this is how you get your HoM stuff". and as for the elite & mini, do we type /bonus or something ingame to get them. thats what I want to know, I guess we'll have to wait until next next for them to say something about.

The bonus items from the pre-purchase will be send to you by mail when you start. The HoM should be reachable somewhere through you'rehome-instance, no idea where though

atleast they don't take up valuable bank space anymore :)  but yea, my mini's will not leave the bank (which makes me pretty sure i'll only have one since i won't be buying any from the cash shop)

Yeah! Maybe they can be upgraded to be bigger! Then we can ride them! They should probably give us a speed bonus too.
Wait..........

No. Minipets are just that. A pet, that is miniature. Lets leave them that way.

No you can not

Actually, I'm not too sure about that. What if they sell keys to upgrade your version to deluxe? That would kinda be a way to get them with gems. I don't think Deluxe Edition is supposed to be rare as the Collectors Edition so it might be available later on as well.

thanks for the info about the bonus items, as for the HoM stuff, I know you have to first "declare an ascestor", you use a in-game item in your Home Instance, when you use that item, you get sent to your GW2 HoM and talk to an NPC to claim your prize.

that much I know,  I just want something more specfic in regard to how we actually get them. But if its simple enough I doubt we need a offically post. doesnt mean I wouldnt mind reading one :)

The light heritage armor doesn't have a skirt that big in the concept art!

Goddammit Anet stop putting skirts in every armor already!

This is so much truth. The 'dresses' and 'skirts' are way too much. The physics just make all trench coats and robes look that way. You can tell that the lead armor designer is a female.

Also, in the concept art the heavy armor has full arm coverage. In-game he's wearing short sleeves. This makes me sad.

This is exactly the case. SO FEW. And not only that, but the amount of rogue/assassin looking hoods available to medium armor is beyond limited. The starting hood for Thieves is pretty much the best option and that's sad.

Actually the concept art shows the female version, which still has full arm armour even in that ingame screenshot.

Well in that case: Why the hell is the female armor complete but the male armor is missing just enough of the sleeve to look completely retarded?

Not sure why the male heavy heritage set has skin showing on the arms. It's based on this promo art from GW1:

Which clearly doesn't have skin showing on the arms...

Actually, if you look closely at the arms you do see the skin . Thus the design is really well transferred into ingame armor
