But we will have to wait a week and see
I think it's weird that they changed the sides of the armor. The shoulder thingy is on the other side now and also the waistband (or however we could call it...). Maybe a bit of nice color does wonders for the armor

It is bad dye combination, as the colors are off. That female version of the armor also seem to be a mirror-image of what is in the concept art. The in-game picture shows her sling to begin from her top-left to her bottom-right which is the same as the man's version of the medium armor shown in the concept art below.

Lol, I love this post. It's so bad that so many decent light and medium sets had to be attached with a bride's train. I wonder how they don't fall flat when running in those skirts. Even in the Incredibles it was said that capes that sort of stuff are dangerous to the hero's health.

Actually, if you look closely at the arms you do see the skin . Thus the design is really well transferred into ingame armor
Look at the amount or neck showing now. In the concept art the armor looks really cool, in game yhe helmet looks to small for his head and has super short sleeves.

*snip*
do you think it will be like the gw1 version where the pants are actually shortpants with the whole dress being to top part? or do you think they split it in the middle?

Guild Wars 3's antagonists will be the Elder Skirts who tore themselves off of their scholar and/or adventurer masters'/mistresses' backside and started rampaging, eating the skirts of others and growing both in power and size. By the time they were finished with all the other skirts thanks to this stupid trend, they became so big that they could cover all of Tyria, strangling the planet and blocking out the sun everywhere.
But hey! At least there will be no skirts/much shorter hemlines in GW3!

I love this place... someone posts an informative message and gets 2 likes.
Someone then posts an overused picture, and gets more likes.
Ontopic: I like the cloth, I'll probably wear it for a long time on my mesmer.

Off topic: Actually I think its because people tend to prefer images over walls of text, not because of their avatar. To me, an avatar reveals nothing about the person in question(or at least nothing worth while), not to mention that it can be misleading. Don't judge a book by its cover, you could be missing some interesting points.

On topic: That medium armor looks really bad... thankfully my Necro will never wear such a hideous hide!
Maybe its the colors or something... looks like something a bandit or a pirate would wear.

the arms and legs look really bulky,
and the color combination clashes with each other.

Only "keeper" in the medium set are the boots, for my characters.

Quite correct. Conversely it's the opposite with light armors.

There is this heavy armor set that looks totally covered from the front but the back leaves the neck and very bottom of the head exposed. WTF?!
EDIT Image added. Seems there are quite a few that leave the neck exposed in some way that are supposed to be full armors.
