I wonder if the HoM armor skin is a one-time use thing or if you can re-apply it over and over again...

I was really really excited for the medium armor for my norn ranger. Now it's more like "meh... We'll see..."
But we will have to wait a week and see :) ONLY a week! *squee*
I think it's weird that they changed the sides of the armor. The shoulder thingy is on the other side now and also the waistband (or however we could call it...). Maybe a bit of nice color does wonders for the armor ;) I will try it anyway.

It is bad dye combination, as the colors are off.  That female version of the armor also seem to be a mirror-image of what is in the concept art.  The in-game picture shows her sling to begin from her top-left to her bottom-right which is the same as the man's version of the medium armor shown in the concept art below.

You will be able to acquire the item that applies the heritage armor skin as many times as you want.

Sadly I concur :(  The amount of neck exposed is pretty silly looking also, why cover the rest heavily only to let his head get sliced off without any barrier, and his arms at the elbow also?  Oh well, I'll probably mix and match from that set, the legs seem to look like solid armour.

However, one can probably more easily display the gauntlets that way.

I'll reserve my thought on the Medium Set until I see it with proper dyes on a human male.

At least the medium armour doesn't look like the medium starter armour. God I hate that stuff now, I got to level 20 in the recent stress test and I couldn't understand what happened to the marksman set I was getting during BWE one and two. Rawhide or whatever it's called is almost unbearable after three betas, especially with the weird way it dyes. I really think the heritage leather armour has a lot of dye potential. I wonder how it looks on a charr?

Now imagine a female charr wearing a light heritage armor = GW1 mesmer noble dress. I want to see that!

Can see I won't be using the heritage light armor. Yet more uneeded skirts to an already overabundance of skirts in Skirt Wars 2. Mini and Mistwolf look great though. So does the heavy Heritage armor. Medium looks ok...will have to see how skirterrible it is.

Lol, I love this post. It's so bad that so many decent light and medium sets had to be attached with a bride's train. I wonder how they don't fall flat when running in those skirts. Even in the Incredibles it was said that capes that sort of stuff are dangerous to the hero's health.

Actually, if you look closely at the arms you do see the skin . Thus the design is really well transferred into ingame armor

Look at the amount or neck showing now. In the concept art the armor looks really cool, in game yhe helmet looks to small for his head and has super short sleeves.

Now, if we assume that this picture is the female version of light heritage armor
*snip*
do you think it will be like the gw1 version where the pants are actually shortpants with the whole dress being to top part? or do you think they split it in the middle?
Assuming this is what it will look like, my guess would be that the dress part would be separate.  The "pants" for it more than likely completely cover her legs.  Leggings and butt-capes seem to be the latest trend in Tyria.  ;)

Aaaaand another good armor set ruined with a damn skirt hanging off the back. ANet, you seriously can't give us a single Adventurer-ish top without throwing a disgusting dress on it and killing anything that was unique about it? This was the last set we have to see (as far as we know) and it still follows the Skirt Wars 2 trend. I'm a sad panda.

Guild Wars 3's antagonists will be the Elder Skirts who tore themselves off of their scholar and/or adventurer masters'/mistresses' backside and started rampaging, eating the skirts of others and growing both in power and size. By the time they were finished with all the other skirts thanks to this stupid trend, they became so big that they could cover all of Tyria, strangling the planet and blocking out the sun everywhere.

But hey! At least there will be no skirts/much shorter hemlines in GW3! :D

maybe because your avatar pretty sums up the nature of post and most people don't seem to like those types of post, but maybe I am wrong.

Off topic: Actually I think its because people tend to prefer images over walls of text, not because of their avatar. To me, an avatar reveals nothing about the person in question(or at least nothing worth while), not to mention that it can be misleading. Don't judge a book by its cover, you could be missing some interesting points.

-----------------------------------------------

On topic: That medium armor looks really bad... thankfully my Necro will never wear such a hideous hide!
Maybe its the colors or something... looks like something a bandit or a pirate would wear.

hmm, not much of a fan of that medium armor,

the arms and legs look really bulky,
and the color combination clashes with each other.

Im all for skirts in the game, however skirts with leggings annoy me to no end. Even if it is more practical, its just looks weird to me. But the cloth armor looks pretty decent.

A lot of the pants from medium armors are just pants, but there are almost no tops that do not have a coat attached to it.

Quite correct. Conversely it's the opposite with light armors.

There is this heavy armor set that looks totally covered from the front but the back leaves the neck and very bottom of the head exposed. WTF?!

EDIT Image added. Seems there are quite a few that leave the neck exposed in some way that are supposed to be full armors.
