Guild-World.Com (A subsidiary of fragworld.org) is happy to announce our August Community  Townhalls for Guild Wars 2. Once again we will be having a separate event for the EU Community as well as our event for North America. Once again we anticipate Arenanet joining in or at least listening to the recording. This event is right before Early start so we will be talking about launch, guild, community and other topics. Feel free to comment to this blog to suggest topics etc or post your attendance if your too lazy to use the calendar =)

About
These events are a chance for guild leaders, officers and fansite admins to come together and talk about recent happenings in the community, to meet other guilds and discuss the future of the game. Also its valuable to Arenanet as another place to get constructive feedback about Guild Wars 2. They listen and provide feedback for each townhall.
Our moderators are volunteers from the community. Feel free to drop us a line at support@fragworld.org if you would like to help organize.or moderate

About our Town Halls

These events are moderated town hall style meetings held on our voice server where guild leaders and officers as well as fansite admins, podcast hosts and other leaders of the community can interact with one another and discuss the issues and happenings around the game and their communities. It is also a useful and constructive way to provide feedback directly to ArenaNet and its community team as often these leaders represent the opinions of dozens, hundreds and even thousand of players.

In order to have equal representation we ask each community to limit themselves to 2 officers/admins.

There is an informal "Happy Hour" 30-60 minutes before and after the meeting where people can socialize and mingle informally. At the end of the meeting we also encourage people to "plug" or "promote" any events, features or news that would benefit the community. Meetings are typically 90 minutes.

We do record the audio from the meeting and we encourage the entire community esp non leader/officer members to participate in the stream which is also moderated. Teamspeak also allows for public text chatting (useful for votes) and private messaging.
The livestream recording is available immediately and the audio is available for download, streaming and itunes usually 1-3 days after the meeting. NDA and embargoed material are not permitted to be discussed.

Hey guys, would love to come but unfortunately the 21st is our Guilds sixth anniversary so we will be doing lots to celebrate that.

We will hopefully be available for the next one.

For those unsure whether to attend, I reccommend it, it's relaxing, but straight to the point, the way things should be!

Due to scheduling conflicts and since many guilds are working with their alliances for early launch we are going to cancel this month's townhalls. See you next month .With a full view of the game we will have plenty to talk about next month.
