So what do you guys think is up with the eye they are showing everywhere? Is it for the release trailer? A cinematic? Or something else?

Also did you guys notice in the clip where they show the booth? After the eye you get to see what looks like burning coal. Maybe someone that has seen the whole movie at the booth knows what it is?

Sauron doesn't look anywhere near as impressive with his Flaming Eye turned off, does he?  But I bet he's as anxious for GW2's release as the rest of us.

I might have a lead guys! I subscribed only to post this. When asked on facebook about this picture https://fbcdn-sphoto...756977085_n.jpg being related, the devs said this: Hmm, what a strange coincidence. ~RB2

On that picture, we can see the keyboard keys 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 highlighted in red, along with the key W. This might mean they want to release a coded message, where the 5th letter could actually be W, as directed by this picture. I heard a couple of people speak of other sources where they saw this picture, some in a video and stuff. I'd suggest we all put those sources together and start checking about it.

Alternatively, it could be that Anet staff imbibed a little too much German beer at Gamescom, then one of them said, "I know!  Let's randomly display this eye picture all over computer monitors and the FB feed and stuff!  People will go nuts!"

That's just part of his keyboard, can't remember the model but came across it when I was searching for a new gaming keyboard a while ago. Nothing to do with the eye.
